Stretch Cords

Stretch cord pants. Are. Life. Seriously, they are my favorite pants to wear to work. They look work appropriate because they essentially look like a very thin lined cord or corduroy pant, but they are stretch so you’re walking around in the most comfortable pants ever all day. Here’s a secret – the button at the top is even fake and it’s all elastic on top. Best thing ever.

I love that the pinwale (the lines) are so fine on these pants. In the past, I have had wider pinwale pants, but these fine lines look more youthful and fresh whereas I feel like the wider ones look older and remind me a little bit of something an old man would wear now that I think about it.

Lastly, I love that the pants are tapered. It’s another reason I think they look youthful and chic. The tapered leg makes the outfit look so much more put together and fashionable. Side note: Guess what, I took this picture of the bottom of my pants and shoes myself!

I really cannot put into words how much I love these pants. I got them last winter from Uniqlo and got a few other colors as well because they felt and looked amazing when I put them on and they were sooo affordable. I can’t remember how much exactly, but I think less than $20 a pair.

What do you guys think about stretch cords?
