Evergreen & Multi-gem Necklace

It’s my last day of work for 2014! Well, minus some tutoring next week, but it’s my last day of real work! This break is so needed as I’m starting to feel mentally and physically drained.

Anyway, yesterday I knew I wanted to wear this evergreen sweater. It has a small zipper in the back and for some reason my hair always gets caught and it’s super annoying. Never happens with other similar shirts so it must be something with this zipper. At the last minute I decided to pair it with this multi-gem necklace. I’ve only ever worn this necklace with white/cream/off-white variations of sweaters since it is so colorful, but I decided that it would go nicely with this green sweater as well. It has some weight to it, but not too bad. It jingles a little if I move a lot, which is fun and since it’s only a little bit it’s not distracting in the least.

Since there’s a lot going on with my necklace, I decided to go simple with my watch which I wear every day to work. I chose to wear my reversible Kate Spade watch on the white side.

I love the white of the band on my watch against the evergreen sweater. And then add in my Christmas nails and it’s just the best thing ever!

The fact that this necklace has so many different colored gems makes it a dream to pair with any color outfit. Well almost any color. Not sure how it’d look on red. In any case, I really enjoyed every part of this look!
