Dead Sea Mud Mask & Night Cream

I’m back with another skincare review! This time I’m happy to share with you my thoughts on InstaNatural’s Dead Sea Mud Mask and the InstaNatural Night Cream Moisturizer.

First up, the Dead Sea Mud Mask. It claims to, “captures the minerals of the Dead Sea waters, along with other nourishing organic ingredients, to provide the ultimate detoxifier & purifier that delivers exceptional results: – Removes excess dirt, oil, grime and dead skin – Improves acne and blemishes – Reduces appearance of wrinkles and fine lines”. I’m a little wary of masks I’ve never tried before since my skin is sensitive, but since I’ve had good experiences with InstaNatural products so far I thought I’d give this a try.

The mask doesn’t have a smell and trust me I tried really hard to sniff and see what it smelled like. It’s a bit more jelly like than I would’ve thought, but the texture is very smooth. The instructions say to apply a thin layer onto your face, avoiding your eyes and lips and leave it on for 10-15 minutes. It has a very cooling feeling when you first apply it. The combination of the thin layer and the fact that the consistency is very jelly like means that it leaves your skin not at all black looking but sort of like a grey tinge. You can definitely see all your skin still underneath. The mask dries fast and makes your face feel stiff very quickly. It is not at all unpleasant, but if you don’t like the feeling of not being able to smile or show facial expressions without that stretchy feeling for 10-15 minutes then this may not be for you.

When time’s up you wash off the mask with water and rub your face in circular motions. It comes off very easily. I definitely did notice my skin feeling softer right off the bat. Since it is suggested you only use this mask once a week, I can’t speak to the long term effects/benefits of the mask, but so far so good!

Moving onto the second product – the Night Cream Moisturizer. It is described as, “a perfect anti-aging & hydrating solution. It’s especially good for those looking to reduce the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles. It’s also great for sensitive skin and for those prone to breakouts and other skin care issues: – Blemished, irritated skin – Scars and hyperpigmentation – Uneven skin tone”.

This is perfect for me since I have uneven skin tone and acne marks I’m trying to get rid of. I recently reviewed the InstaNatural Retinol Moisturizer  and expressed how I liked it but that for the winter I needed something with more hydration. This moisturizer is perfect for the winter! It is a much richer, thicker consistency and I can already tell that my skin is less dry.

I’m definitely enjoying these products and I’m looking forward to seeing the long term benefits of the mud mask!
