Gladiator Sandals

Towards the end of last summer I got wind of the gladiator sandal trend and really liked it. With the summer winding down (back then) I didn’t want to buy a pair at the time since soon I wouldn’t be able to wear them. I did keep an eye out in the winter months though for a pair on sale and I luckily found a pair I liked on sale at DSW. I finally got a chance to break these out and they were everything I was hoping for!

I like the look of the gladiator sandals I’ve seen that come up to almost knee-length, but for now I like the simplicity and more casual look of these that come up to my calves. There is a zipper in the back if you’re wondering how I put them on! I haven’t walked for long periods of time in these shoes, so I don’t know how they are if you’re wearing them all day, but for the periods of time I have worn them (going out to eat, etc.) they’re very comfortable. I’m glad I got my hands on these on sale. It’s a reminder to look for things out of season!
