Yea or Nay: Perforated Details

Perforated details in fashion seems to be a growing trend — not a huge trend, but still I’ve been seeing it pop up here and there, especially in handbags.

The tank top I wore over the weekend has an inverted v shape perforation as well as some perforated detailing at the shoulders.

I like that the perforated details on this top are limited to the inverted V in the center and on the shoulders instead of all over. It helps to break up the busy geometric pattern. Since it is also not all over the top, I could get away with not wearing a camisole underneath. I did, however, wear a camisole anyway because I’m just more comfortable that way. Plus, I went to the movie theater where it’s usually chilly. I know, 2 movies at the theater in a week, who am I?! I saw Ant-Man, in case you were wondering. But back to this tank top. I’m definitely a fan of the detailing, mostly because it’s not overdone and just enhances the look in my opinion.
