MAKE Beauty Review + Discount Code

I always love trying new makeup brands, so I was excited to get some samples from MAKE Beauty sent to me. I was sent a sample of their Matte Finish Eyeshadow in the shade, “Alabaster” and a sample of Silk Cream Lipstick in “Taffy”.

The eyeshadow is a beautiful light peach shade. It provides a nice wash of color on the lids, but with my skin tone it’s not very pigmented. It’s perfect for a natural look or for highlighting under the brow though!

The lipstick is a very pretty dusty rose color! It’s matte and took two or three passes to get a full color on my lips. I know that this lipstick line is called Silk Cream, but I wouldn’t think of it as silky in terms of moisturizing. It’s very matte, but not at all drying on the lips or uncomfortable.

I really love the color of the lipstick and would definitely invest in a full size one!

I really like what I’ve seen from this beauty brand so far. Their products are paraben-free and the brand does not test on animals. Another reason to like the brand? A percentage of sales is donated to their non-profit partner, We See Beauty Foundation, supporting women-led, worker-owned cooperative businesses across the Americas.
