Textured Paisley

Happy belated Mother’s Day to all my readers who celebrated! I made dinner for my mom last night, so food posts about some of the dishes will be coming up in the future.

Onto today’s post! Blouses, like cardigans, are one of my work style staples. Having blouses in different colors and different prints is one way to switch things up, but it’s not often that you find blouse with some texture involved. I got this blouse as a Christmas gift and I love the black trim and textured paisley design.

I paired this blouse with black dress pants for work. This black & white combo is classic and simple, yet the texture to the paisley design adds nice detailing to the blouse and makes it look more formal. It definitely makes a simple blouse more interesting in my opinion!
