My First Charlotte Tilbury Haul

When Charlotte Tilsbury became available in the US over a year ago, I knew it was a brand I would be lusting over. Then, I saw bloggers and YouTubers fall in love with her products and rave about pretty much the entire line. There were so many items I wanted to get myself, but I kept putting it off in favor of spending money on beauty items I need to replenish or splurging on limited edition items. Well, the time finally came where I found myself ordering some long-awaited Charlotte Tilbury goodies!

The items in this haul were not all purchased at the same time, but over a few different Nordstrom orders. So, if you want to see what I got, keep reading!

Charlotte Tilbury Haul

Charlotte Tilbury - Love is the Drug

The iconic Charlotte Tilbury blush has a darker center with a lighter outer ring. I got the shade, “Love is the Drug” – a gorgeous bubble gum pink with a baby pink outer shade.

Charlotte Tilbury - Amber Haze

I knew I wanted to try an eye product, and while I really wanted to get an eyeshadow quad because they look beautiful and I hear they are awesome, I was already pushing the limits of my wallet with this haul, so I went for the Color Morphing Eyeshadow Pencil in the shade “Amber Haze”. Believe it or not, this eyeshadow pencil is half the price of a quad!

Charlotte Tilbury - Bitch Perfect
Charlotte Tilbury - Blondie
Charlotte Tilbury - Pillowtalk

I knew that I wanted to definitely try some lip products, since that’s what I mostly hear such rave reviews about. For the lip products, I got the ones that I hear that most about, that also seemed like great universal colors – The K.I.S.S.I.N.G Lipstick in the shade “Bitch Perfect”, the Lip Cheat Lip Liner in the shade “Pillowtalk”, and the Lip Lustre in “Blondie”.

I also bought a pencil sharpener. I have one from Urban Decay that I’ve been using for my brow pencil and having a second one on hand will be so convenient for my lip pencils. That way I don’t have to constantly clean them out before switching between sharpening my eye and lip pencils.

In my selfies above, I’m wearing the blush, eyeshadow pencil, lip liner, and lipstick. The eyeshadow stick is so creamy and easy to blend. I drew on my eyelid and then used a shadow brush to blend it in. The lip liner is amazing. It’s seriously perfect. It’s not hard at all – I’ve used pencils before that are sharp and hard and you feel like you’re stabbing your lips to try to get any color transference. This pencil is somehow hard enough to keep it’s shape, but soft and creamy at the same time. It glided across my lips with ease. The lip stick is so creamy, but took a little more work than the lip pencil. The staying power  is impressive. It’s so comfortable on the lips that I forgot I was even wearing it and hours later when I was eating, I used my napkin and saw that I had blotted some off. I had completely forgotten about it! The blush gave a very natural look and seems to be easily buildable. I went for a subtle look on that particular day, but if I were going out for a special occasion, I could make it more pigmented effortlessly.

My first Charlotte Tilbury items have not disappointed in the least, which I’m extremely happy about. It would’ve been pretty disappointing if I had my hopes up for over a year only to find the products weren’t worth it! The packaging is top notch, luxury quality with its gold details. I definitely plan to buy more from the brand in the future, including getting my hands on an eyeshadow quad at some point. I’ve heard good things about the foundation, contour & highlight duos, and of course I can’t forget the famous “Magic Cream”!
