NYX HD Concealer

I’ve been using the NYX HD Concealer for a few weeks now and I’m really liking it. It took me a while to get through the Revlon Photoready Concealer, which is a stick concealer so this liquid concealer from NYX was a welcome change.

NYX offers different shades for the concealer – I’m using Light – and has also added in color correcting shades. The wand applicator is easy to use and not at all flimsy. The concealer formula is not thick, but still offers good coverage. I like that it feels cool on the skin giving off a refreshing feeling. Another plus is that it doesn’t set too quickly so you have time to blend it in. In fact, I dotted this concealer around my face where I needed some coverage and then took these photos before blending it in and it still blended like a dream.

As mentioned above, the concealer I was using before this one was the Revlon Photoready one. It’s not that I disliked the Revlon one but after using it for so long I couldn’t wait to finish it up. Especially because the stick formula is thick and dry, it’s nice to change it up and have something smoother and creamier.

I’m definitely a fan and at only $4.99 you can bet I will be repurchasing it!
