My First Rocksbox

I have an exciting post to share with you all today! I’ve heard about Rocksbox for a long time now and always meant to check it out, but never did. Well, Rocksbox was kind enough to finally give me the opportunity to check out the boxes for myself. If you don’t know what Rocksbox is, it is a subscription service that provides you with 3 pieces of premium fashion jewelry per box. These items aren’t for you to keep, although you do have the option to purchase, but rather to rent.

How does Rocksbox pick out what to send you? When you sign up, you fill out a style survey so they know what your jewelry style is and you also pick out items for a wish list. Rocksbox will send you items that are a mixture of what’s on your wish list and what Rocksbox stylists have chosen for you based on your tastes.

You can keep the box for as long as you want and wear the pieces provided to you. When you’re done, you just send it back in the pre-paid package they provide for you. If there is a piece or pieces you just love and want to keep, you just don’t send it back and the company will charge your credit card. What’s great is that you get to buy the pieces for a discounted price. Once you mail Rocksbox back the package, they will send out your next box.

So let’s see what I got in my first box!

I wanted to wear the earrings, but the backs kept getting stuck and there’s nothing worse than the back of an earring that won’t come off. I get afraid to pull too hard because it will hurt and then I get afraid I’ll rip my ear or something! This is the first time I’ve ever worn a midi ring. I’ve always loved the dainty look of them but I never bought one for myself because I thought my fingers weren’t long and slender enough to really pull them off.

I’m super pleased with this first box from Rocksbox and although I’m not planning to buy any of these pieces, if I were to pick one to keep I would go with the ring. I’ll be sending this back in a few days and I really look forward to see what’s in my next box!
