Bows
I don’t think bows will ever not be in style, plus I love them so when I saw this style challenge on Polyvore I had to create a look. I created this set 2 months ago but it seemed fitting to share it this week since this retro light blue 50s style cocktail dress reminds me of Jackie Kennedy Onassis and this Friday is the presidential inauguration. Despite my less than thrilled feelings towards this particular inauguration, I’m still happy to share this look!
I chose this retro dress with the bow because it looks so classy and I love the black trim. To match the black trim I chose white and black heels with little cutouts. I chose white accessories to match the white in the heels with this lace and satin clutch (which also has a bow!) and white leather and crystal Ted Baker bracelet which also features the cutest bow.
Despite the fact that this look echoes back to the 50s, it’s an outfit that I would wear today!

the 1950s style is so classy, I like to wear it from time to time 🙂 I feel the same way bows will always be in style. Those shoes are so classy, I love that they are black and white.
