Patterned Cardigan

I’ll be the first to admit that online ads for brands I know and love work on me. I won’t say they get me every time, but they do get me every once in a while. Like those emails or ads that claim they have some new things they know I’ll love and I think to myself – you know what [insert company/brand name] I do love that! This patterned cardigan from American Eagle that was included in an ad and found its way to me is a prime example. I saw it and loved it immediately so of course I had to find it on the website and take a closer look for myself. Loved it, had a discount, bought it!

I love love love this cardigan. It is so warm and cozy and the pattern is so bright and inviting against the white knit. I just adore the pattern and colors so much. The detailing is so pretty and the navy blue trim is perfect. And what makes this cardigan even better? It’s got pockets! The pockets are also trimmed with the navy blue knit which is just the perfect touch.

This cardigan makes me feel like I should be in New England sitting by the fire. Well I don’t live in New England (though I do live in the northeast so I suppose it’s close enough in comparison to other parts of the country) and when I took these pictures it was a work day so I certainly wasn’t relaxing fireside, but perhaps on my next wearing of it! This could easily be one of my favorite pieces of the season.
