Too Faced – Sweet Peach Palette

Too Faced’s Sweet Peach Palette has been out since last year and was so popular that it had to relaunch for all the people that missed it the first time around. I wouldn’t say I missed it exactly the first time around, because I wasn’t dying to get my hands on it. But over time, I kept hearing/reading about how amazing the palette was so when the palette relaunched I considered getting it. I still didn’t for quite a while. It wasn’t until this past spring when the Sephora VIB sale was going on that I decided to get it because it was still in stock. It’s still in stock now, by the way!

Since there may be many of you out there who, like me, are unsure of whether you want to get the palette still after all this time I thought I’d write up this post on my thoughts.

The palette includes a range of colors, mostly on the warmer side. There are a mix of matte and glitters as well. I’ve swatched the shades by row starting from the top row from left to right.

So what are my thoughts on the palette? Well, as the name suggests, the palette smells peachy. Similar to their Chocolate line, which smells like chocolate, the Sweet Peach palette has a peach scent, but it is a bit overpowering and a sickly sweet scent in my opinion. As soon as you open the palette (magnetic closure) the scent hits you in the face and it’s a bit much for me! Luckily, the scent doesn’t linger when applied. The shades are easy to use and blend easily. There is decent pigmentation on the shades, but as you can see in the swatches, some show up better than others on my skin.

Overall, I like the palette but it’s not as amazing as I’ve heard people say in my opinion. It’s good and versatile, but not holy grail status. If these are your kinds of shades then I say go for it. If you’re still on the fence, then I’d look up pictures of people wearing the palette with your skin tone to get a better idea if you’d like it. For me, I don’t regret buying the palette, but I’m glad I bought it with my discount!
