Dark Olive Floral Cold Shoulder

I’m back today with the first of two outfits from my fall photoshoot with Jaye Kogut Photography! If you missed my summer ones you can catch them here, here, and here. Jaye and I worked together one summer a long time ago back when I was in college. We worked at a summer camp together and now Jaye is a professional photographer! She and I are doing blog photo shoots seasonally. For my fall shoot we met at Davidson’s Mill Pond Park and we shot two outfits.

My first outfit is this dark olive floral cold shoulder top, wine colored pants, and blush pink lace up flats.

The whole look was so fall to me so I definitely wanted to wear this for my photoshoot. The print on the olive green top is so pretty and the color combination on it is fall perfection. I love the cold shoulder look and the elastic and bow detail is a nice addition to keep the sleeves more structured. I also love the gold buttons down the back and luckily the neck hole of the shirt is big enough that I don’t need to undo the buttons.

Pairing this top with the wine colored pants was a great choice because they help bring out the the berry colors in my top. Lastly, the blush pink lace up flats helped tie the look together and helps it stay casual with its light color.

I’m really happy with how this look turned out and I think it was the quintessential fall outfit! I’ll be sharing the 2nd look of my fall photoshoot later this month and I’m excited that I’ll be doing my winter shoot this month as well before it gets really cold. I’ll be saving those photos to share til real winter though!

I hope you like this outfit as much as I do!
