Modilize Launch Party

Happy Wednesday! This week has been so busy that it feels much later in the week than Wednesday, but at least we’re one day closer to the weekend.

So last Saturday during New York Fashion Week (NYFW) I went in to the city for the Modilize Launch Party. Modilize is a soon to be released app for online shopping that is going to streamline the shopping experience for women. I’m excited for it to officially launch! In the meantime though, I had a great time at their NYFW launch party.

I arrived in the city about an hour before the event started, so I walked around the neighborhood a little and got some food.

After getting a snack at a bakery, I headed over to the Modilize event. The event was in Soho in a penthouse with roof access. The view from the roof was amazing and the weather was perfect! Inside the party there were professional photographers around, snacks and drinks, and a glam squad! The two women who did my hair and makeup were so nice and the pampering definitely made me feel cool! I asked for soft curls and a natural eye with some sparkle.

I also won a necklace at the event which was super exciting because I never win anything! It’s a Bryan Anthonys “Tribe” necklace and it’s the perfect dainty piece. It looks like a little tent.

The event was a good time and I’m so happy I went. I wasn’t sure if I’d fit in especially since I was going alone, but everyone was really nice and friendly and I made some new Instagram friends. I’m looking forward for the app to officially launch so I can try it out!
