Panel Art

Monday already. I don’t know where the weekends go! This week shouldn’t be too hectic for me barring any crazy things coming up. However, next week is going to be super busy for me so I’m going to try to take advantage of the free time I have this week.

I have another home decor post coming your way today. You may remember that I’ve mentioned before that my townhouse has a really large wall in the dining area. The ceiling is really high since you can look down in to the dining area from upstairs which means there’s a lot of empty wall. This wall is not done yet, but I’ve made a start on it with this 4-piece panel art.

This 4-piece panel canvas is called “The Great Wave Off Kanagawa” from Art.com. I love it! The print is so pretty and the colors go so well with the downstairs of the townhouse in terms of my wall paint and furniture.

As mentioned earlier in the post this wall is far from done. I need to get pieces for either side of the panels since the wall still has a lot of empty space. Since this piece is Japanese I think I’m going to look for Japanese art for the other two pieces just to stick to a theme.  I’m hoping to get those pieces sometime this month so I will post an update once that’s all picked out, ordered, and hung!
