Mustard Waffle Knit Cardigan

Yesterday I shared a bright outfit that took a break from typical fall colors. Well today’s outfit is full-on fall. Last month I bought this waffle knit mustard yellow cardigan and this polka dot, lace trim cami. I bought them separately but when deciding what to wear underneath the cardigan, I thought this polka dot cami would be perfect underneath. Normally when I think of mustard I think of pairing it with browns and jeans. So the black and white polka dot cami was a bit of a departure, but I think it actually looks so good together!

I wore the cardigan and cami with moto leggings in a dark grey/distressed black color to dress the look down and make it more casual. Lastly, I wore black scalloped espadrille flatforms.

I have more pictures than usual for this post because I just couldn’t decide what not to post! I love this outfit and the fall foliage and beautiful yellow leaves on the ground in the background are just too good to pass up!

This sweater is so soft and the sleeves balloon out just a little since they are loose and the wrists are tighter. I love that it has pockets. What’s not to love about this sweater? It’s soft, waffle knit, mustard, and has pockets! As mentioned above, I typically would not pair mustard yellow with black, but I decided to here and have no regrets! Also, honorable mention to how perfect this cami is. It’s so comfortable and the lace trim and buttons are too cute. I really wanted to get this in emerald green but it was sold out unfortunately. On the upside, the black and white cami will match more things.
