Christmas is fast approaching, which means social media is now filled with everyone’s gorgeous Christmas crafts. Whether you’re browsing Pinterest or scrolling Instagram, Christmas crafts are absolutely everywhere, so why not get in on the action?

If you have never made any crafts before or if you’re a seasoned pro, here are 5 Christmas crafts for you to try this winter:

  • Put Together A Christmas Garland For Your Fireplace

If you’re lucky enough to have a fireplace in your home then you will know how stunning it looks when it has it’s Christmas garland placed over it. Whilst they are much easier to buy, creating your own can be an inexpensive and creative alternative. Simply make a rope using two pairs of tights, then wrap bits of woodland around them. Once you have done this, you can add in any decorations you wish.

Although this is one of the more difficult Christmas crafts, it’s also one of the most rewarding as you’ll have absolutely everyone complimenting you on your stunning garland. You may even have people asking you to make theirs!

  • Craft Tree Decorations For Your Christmas Tree

Christmas tree decorations often hold a special meaning, and what could be more special than ornaments you have made yourself? Whether you make them purely for decoration or you create something to commemorate each year – you’ll feel super nostalgic as you get them out again each year.

  • Make Your Own Christmas Cards

Writing Christmas cards has become one of those things that people no longer enjoy about Christmas. You get the same cards year in and year out and only give to those that still give to you so you don’t seem ‘rude’. To add some magic back into Christmas cards, why not consider making your own? There are lots of different ways to craft your own including designing them online, making them from scratch or sending a family photo card. • Create Your Own Christmas Wreath

One of the most popular Christmas crafts is making your own wreath. Whether you hang yours up in your house or on your front door, they’re an incredibly beautiful Christmas decoration that you can tailor to your family. You can use your favourite colours, favourite plants and even get creative with the design by adding in dried fruits, ribbons and glitter. The freedom is completely yours.

  • Make Hot Chocolate Jars To Give As Gifts

If you’re looking for a Christmas craft you give as a gift, these easy-to-make hot chocolate jars are a great idea. Simply fill a mason jar with hot cocoa, sugar, chocolate chips and marshmallows. You can decorate the jar so it’s super festive, or leave it plain so you can see the layered ingredients inside. For a more detailed method, you can visit this site here.
