Living Proof – Perfect Hair Day Body Builder

Happy Friday! It’s been a long and stressful week, but we’re finally at the weekend. Now only if the weekend can not fly by in the blink of an eye we’ll be good.

Let’s talk about hair today. My hair is pretty soft and silky, but it’s fine so if I don’t blow dry it with a round brush, it can look flat. So when I saw a bunch of people on social media raving about Living Proof’s Perfect Hair Day (PhD) Body Builder I wanted to try it.

You can set the nozzle on the spray to give you more or less body. It’s easy to use – all you have to do is spray it 6-10 inches away from your hair. Lift your hair in sections to spray. It claims to give “buildable body with airiness, movement, and light hold”.

It definitely is buildable and doesn’t make your hair stiff or anything like that. I’ve been too afraid to increase the body level too much because I don’t want it to get too out of hand, but I’ve been able to add a little volume at the crown which is perfect for me.

The only thing I’m not crazy about is that by the end of the day my hair is extra knotty, which I think is due to the spray. But overall, I really like the spray and I want to try to use it to add volume to my ponytails. I’ll let you know how that goes!
