Christmas [Tree] Script Tee – 2 Ways

Merry Christmas Eve Eve!

I love Christmas sweaters, tees, etc. but I think many people struggle with how to wear their holiday wear out in to the real world and not just to a holiday party. Yes, there are some that are reserved for holiday specific events like my sweater with a sequins elf outfit, I’m the head of the elf, and it says “Elfie Selfie”. Or my Christmas llama sweater that lights up. However, clothing items like a Christmas tee can transition from day to night and it’s probably a lot easier than you’d think.

During Cyber Monday I got this long sleeve, v-neck tee that says Merry Christmas in the shape of a Christmas tree in pretty, swirly script. I wore this tee last weekend and I decided to style two ways for this post. So today I’m sharing a casual way to wear it and also a more dressed up way.

For my casual, dressed down look I wore the tee with black leggings, UGGs, and a Christmas plaid vest. For my dressier, dressed up version I wore it with black pants that have a gold zip details at the ankles, a blazer cape, and heels.

I love both looks! The dressed down version is so comfortable and festive with the vest and leggings. The dressed up version is so sleek and stylish with the blazer cape, pants, and heels. I love the gold zip details on the pants. And if someone saw you wearing this outfit out, they’d never immediately guess that your long sleeve top underneath the cape was a Christmas graphic tee. This is also a great way to transition one piece from day to night. Wear the leggings and vest during the day and then swap them out for nicer pants, a blazer cape, and heels for night.

After these photos I wore the casual, dressed down version for the rest of the day since I wasn’t going out.
