Sriracha Honey Turkey Meatballs

I get a lot of recipes from Pinterest. Most of the recipes I try are pretty good, but some are so delicious that I make them over and over again. These sriracha honey turkey meatballs are one of those repeat meals for me. They’re so good! I follow the recipe pretty much, but put the meatballs over rice instead of rice vermicelli and use broccoli usually instead of snow peas.

For the recipe you”ll need:

  • ground turkey
  • panko breadcrumbs
  • egg
  • garlic
  • salt
  • pepper
  • peanut oil or canola oil (I use canola)
  • fresh ginger
  • sriracha
  • soy sauce
  • rice vinegar
  • honey
  • green onions
  • broccoli (the original recipe uses snow peas, but I use broccoli)

In a large bowl combine the ground turkey, panko breadcrumbs, egg, garlic, salt, and pepper. Roll the mixture into meatballs.

In a large skillet, heat some oil, and cook the meatballs until they are brown on all sides. Set the meatballs aside and using the same skillet stirfry the broccoli. I parboil them first so they cook quicker.

Remove the broccoli and add the ginger and garlic into the skillet. Stir in the sriracha, soy sauce, honey, and rice vinegar. Bring to a boil and then add the meatballs and broccoli back in to coat and heat through.

I serve the meatballs and broccoli over rice and it’s so good!
