Weasley Sweater
Happy New Year! I can’t believe it’s 2020! Well, actually I really can’t believe it because I’m writing this ahead of time and it’s still 2019 right now so hello from the past! Last night I had White Elephant/Secret Santa with my friends who I have been doing it with since high school. Since I’m writing this before the party, I’m just going to assume we had a great time. I’ll have to get back to you tomorrow on what gift I ended up with. Anyway, the outfit I’m sharing with you today is what I wore to White Elephant. How I came across this sweatshirt is my friend had suggested…

December 2019 Favorites
Every month seems to fly by and I pretty much always say that, but I can’t believe we’re at the last day of 2019! Not just the last day of December, but the last day of the year and decade. It’s so crazy to think about. A lot has changed in the past 10 years and some things have stayed the same. The way 2019 started is really different from the way 2019 is ending. This year I moved out of my townhouse that I had bought with my brother and bought a condo of my own. Spent almost 3 months getting it renovated and just recently moved in. It’s…

Restyled: Blue Eyelash Sweater + Leopard Ponte Leggings
Get ready for the cutest and most comfortable leggings. These leopard ponte leggings are so cute and with the fitted, thick ponte style/material you would think they might be a little uncomfortable, but they’re actually super comfortable! Normally when you think of thicker materials, you think of the pieces being a little stiff and not that stretchy therefore not as comfortable. Knowing that, I couldn’t be more pleased with how comfortable these leggings are. I wore them here (yesterday) with my fuzzy blue eyelash sweater for a restyling. Sweater: Gap | Leggings: LOFT | Boots: UGG | Earrings: Kendra Scott (here) Since the sweater is a little on the cropped side,…

Mixed Stripe Boxy Sweater
I’ve been really liking cropped length sweaters lately, but rest assured I never let my stomach show – I just pair the shorter sweaters with tops underneath, bodysuits, and/or high-waisted pants. Brown and teal may not seem like the most obvious color combo, but it somehow works. I wore this color block/mixed stripe boxy sweater with a loose fitting tank top underneath and brown leggings. Sweater: American Eagle | Leggings: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Tank Top: Loft | Boots: UGG I would have preferred to wear this with brown boots, but I only packed these black UGGs for my brief getaway to Hershey. I really like this whole…

Hershey at Christmas
The last time I went to Hershey, Pennsylvania I was probably around 10 or 11. Needless to say it’s been a long time and it’s only about 2.5 hours away from me. My hopes of going somewhere tropical this winter vacation were dashed by semi last minute planning and the very high prices of warm weather destinations during the winter. So when thinking of places nearby for a quick getaway, my family and I decided to go to Hershey since I’d heard it’s supposed to be nice for the holidays. We went for 2 days and it was a nice time and not too jam packed, which offered time to…

Hallmark Top 10 Christmas Movies 2019
If you’ve been following me for at least a year then you know I pretty much watch every Hallmark Channel movie. I know that they are really predictable, but I still love them. It’s a guilty pleasure! But, I do have to say that they have really elevated their material this holiday season with some deeper storylines and they’re not all saccharine sweet anymore. I watched almost all of the Hallmark holiday movies this year, but fell behind this past week so I missed the last few (although I do have them saved on my DVR to watch sometime next week when I have time). Nonetheless, I feel like since…

“All Lined Up” Gel Strips
I like having pretty nails but I don’t have the time, nor do I want to spend the money, to get my nails regularly done at the nail salon. I’m pretty good at painting my nails and in the past I have dabbled with nail pens to draw designs as well as Flash Tattoo nail stickers. I’ve used press-on nails a few times and although I find them easy to apply and so fun, I’m always afraid they’ll pop off. I will still use them occasionally though, especially since I have 1 or 2 sets left! But, today I’m talking about these gel strips from Dashing Diva. They are just…

Hip Grizzly Sweatshirt
I’m writing this blog post ahead of time as I am in Hershey, Pennsylvania taking in all the Christmas things for a brief getaway. Hopefully, I’ve been able to post some fun Christmas sights over on my Instagram stories! Now on to this casual outfit I wore last weekend. How adorable is this sweatshirt? I got it last winter and it’s a hipster grizzly wearing a plaid flannel around his waist! Could it get any cuter? I wore it with space dye leggings and UGGs for an easy, casual look. Sweatshirt: Shopbop | Leggings: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s My sweatshirt is sold out, but I’m linking to it just…
