SOPHi Nail Polishes

Anyone else feel like this week has been two weeks long? Yesterday, I couldn’t even remember what day it was because it felt like it should be way later in the week than Wednesday. I got confused when telling my students what we’re going to do the rest of this week and then they reminded me that they have off on Friday (parent/teacher conferences) and I was like “Wait, what day is today?” haha.

A few weeks ago I was sent some nail polishes from SOPHi. When they asked if I wanted to try them out, I didn’t realize it was a whole system. I followed the instructions and did all of the steps for coats, blow drying, etc. I applied the red color, “Fearless”, and it applied really nicely. The process was a little lengthy with all the sealing coats and blow drying them in between coats, but it made them really last. They didn’t start chipping til about a week later and then I couldn’t not get the polish off when I wanted to remove it! I tried to use regular nail polish remover and when it didn’t budge at all, I remembered that they had also sent a gel polish remover. And even then it was tough to remove. I still have little specks of red on a few of my nails.
