Charlotte Tilbury Magic Vanish Color Corrector
I first noticed dark circles under my eyes when I was in college. I distinctly remember I had pulled an all-nighter to memorize like 100 paintings, the artists, the mediums, etc. for my art history class. Side note: I had waited 4 years to take art history because it never fit in my schedule since it had nothing to do with my major or minor and I finally got to take it senior year and absolutely loved it. Anyway, I remember thinking my dark circles were a result of my staying up all night and once I got to catch up on sleep they’d go away. But, they never did.…

Ice Cream & Popsicle Nails
I wanted to do something fun with my nails before I go back to work next week and while digging through some of my nail things I came across old Flash Tattoo nail tattoos that I got a few years ago. I decided to paint my nails and put an ice cream cone on my middle fingers and a popsicle on my ring fingers. My light pink nail polish is at my parents’ house or else I would’ve used a lighter polish – maybe even white – to let the tattoos really pop, but this will do for now! I couldn’t find these exact nail tattoos from Flash Tattoo, but…

Lash Freak Mascara
I love trying new mascaras. I’m open to trying any kind of mascara, but I only have a few favorites. So did the new Urban Decay Lash Freak Mascara make the cut for my list of favorites? Here’s how Urban Decay describes the mascara: “An intensely volumizing mascara with an asymmetrical brush that lengthens and lifts lashes for a dramatic, wide-eyed look. This ultra-pigmented mascara creates 23.6 times more volume and 40 percent more visible length. The brush was designed to give extreme volume and definition to lashes. The tip defines and separates, while the curved side adds lift. The mascara’s long-wear formula lasts up to 20 hours and is…

Born This Way Foundation
Today I’m sharing my thoughts on the Born this Way Foundation from Too Faced. This is definitely the foundation that I’ve been the most excited to talk about in a while. The last one I shared was the Perricone MD No Makeup Foundation Serum. I really liked that foundation at first when I wrote that review. I said it had good coverage (true) and didn’t get patchy on my skin in those first 2 weeks. Well, as the weeks went on I felt like it started to really break down on my skin by the evenings. I don’t know why it changed on my skin after a few weeks, but…

NYX Correcting Concealer
I’ve always been intrigued by colored concealers that are geared towards specific purposes. NYX has 22 shades in their Hi Definition Photo Concealer line and I picked up the green shade which is supposed to conceal/correct redness. I have been using the green concealer for a few weeks now and first of all I have to say it is a beautiful shade of green, even though that probably has nothing to do with anything. It does lessen the appearance of redness from pimples and little marks, but it’s important to note that while it takes out redness, it doesn’t fully conceal. If you want to really conceal marks you’d have…

May 2020 Favorites
Well if 2020 hasn’t already been bad enough, May has just been another dumpster fire! Things are absolutely crazy right now. We’re still getting through the pandemic and the country is literally and figuratively on fire. I hope you are all staying safe through all of these hard times. For lighter new, I have a round-up of things I loved in May. First, did you watch the first season of Zoey’s Extraordinary Playlist? I loved the show and I’m waiting to hear if it’s picked up for a 2nd season on NBC. I hope so! During the season finale, the cast sang “American Pie” and I was obsessed with their rendition…

No Makeup Foundation Serum
Sunday, already? It’s a 3-day weekend here, thankfully, but I can’t believe it’s already Sunday. I tried to sleep in yesterday, but woke up at 8am to the sound of pouring rain. It was so loud that I had to put my AirPods in and play music to drown out the sound of the pounding rain. Do you have any Memorial Day Weekend plans? I’m at my parents house and just having a small bbq with them since we can’t really see other people here in NJ. So the beauty product I’m talking about is not one that I got during the Sephora sale, but something I got on sale…
