    Beaded Bracelet Stack

By now I’m sure you know I am a fan of The Styled Collection. They have great quality jewelry for really reasonable prices. And all their pieces are really on trend and even dupes for high end brands like David Yurman cable bracelets and Cartier Love bracelets. A little while back I saw that they started selling beaded bracelets that are perfect for stacking. The Seychelle Bracelets have average size beads with a gold chainlink detail. The Santorini Bracelets are thin bracelets with small beads and have some gold detailing. A variety of colors are available and I wish I could buy them all! In the end I picked out…

Denim Jumpsuit + Toggle Coin Necklace

Yesterday was a long day at work with Back to School Night until 8 so I’m hoping today is nice and quick. I’ve had family in town this week and so last weekend we went out to dinner. I wore a denim jumpsuit and my new (to me) toggle coin necklace that has the Greek god Eros on it. Eros is son of Ares and Aphrodite and the Roman equivalent is Cupid, so that’s cool! I decided to wear brown strappy sandals and curled my hair so I felt like I had that 70s vibe going on! Jumpsuit: Abercrombie & Fitch | Sandals: DSW (here) | Necklace: The Styled Collection…

    Flutter Heart Ruffle Romper

My photoshoots with Lauren are always fun and the shoot this outfit is from was no exception, but it was a different vibe than we’ve done in the past. I wanted to do some going out/night time looks so we decided to meet up right around sunset to get some of that evening/blue light look. The photos turned out so good! It was definitely worth the sweating to death trying to get changed in the backseat of my car. And worth the nasty bruise I got on my knee which I think must’ve happened from hitting my knee on my center console or something. For my first look I wore…

    Leopard Sheath Dress

This past weekend was such a whirlwind with house stuff, family coming to town, and a family bbq that I actually didn’t have the Sunday night blues because going to work seems like a nice escape from all the craziness! So let’s hope work today is pretty good so I don’t regret today’s desire to go to work. Last week I wore this leopard sheath dress to work. Normally I wouldn’t think to wear a full-on animal print dress to work, but the colors of this dress are so autumnal (one of my favorite words) that I thought it just worked. The base color of the dress is like a…

    Metallic Stripe Puff Sleeve Top

Things are slowly moving along with my condo. I had the hot water heater replaced and my new dishwasher was delivered. I went to pick up samples of quartz for new countertops and floor samples for new vinyl flooring. Hopefully I’ll have some more updates soon! Once things really get done I can do some proper home/home decor posts. Anyway, last month I went in to Express to happily spend my birthday coupon. When I saw this black puff sleeve top with multicolor metallic pinstripes I had to try it on. I loved it immediately and decided to get it. The top has a slightly cropped fit to it so…

    Brushmarl Dress

You might be wondering what exactly brushmarl is. It’s actually exactly what it sounds like. A lightweight marled dress with a brushed finish. I’m a big fan of the Lou & Grey pieces that LOFT carries. They are the softest clothes! They make amazing loungewear, but I’ve gotten some great pieces from them that could be casual or work wear appropriate. This brushmarl dress is one of those pieces. I can wear it with sandals out and about or to work with wedges or flats and some accessories. I wore this grey button down dress to work with a Kendra Scott necklace in my birthstone. Love the split neck and…

    Octagonal Hoops

Happy Wednesday! We’re halfway through the week and it’s been a busy one and will continue to be so it’s just a quick blog post from me today. Months ago I talked about (either on here or on Instagram Stories) that I was looking for a pair of hoop earrings. Dainty, not chunky, but medium to large in size. I bought , what I thought, were really pretty hoops from Francesca’s, but they broke! They broke the first time I tried to wear them. So I was on the hunt for a new pair of earrings and I came across these unique ones from Baublebar. The octagonal shape is so…

Olive Button Shorts + Strappy Bodysuit

Often times I put together an outfit in my mind and just hope that it will look as good in real life as it does in my head. Usually it works out, in my opinion, and this outfit turned out better than I imagined! I paired my pull on olive shorts with button detailing and a black ribbed bodysuit with a strappy back. I love the way this bodysuit fits. It is so flattering and isn’t too skin tight and uncomfortable in the least. I also love the straps and square neckline. So on trend! And since it’s a bodysuit it’s so easy to just wear the pull-on shorts with…

    Warm Saffron Smocked Jumpsuit

Monday again and this time a full week of work since last week was just a 4 day week. I’m hoping to get the ball rolling on my multiple home projects this week so I can start to see an end in sight – even if it’s in the distance. I don’t mind if things take a while to get done as long as I know they’re getting done, if you that makes sense. The weather here has been really nice. Not hot, but not cold. Just really pleasant. I think we’re supposed to get some rain this week, but hopefully it’s nothing too bad. This smocked jumpsuit is the…

    Striped Gauze Shorts

I hate shorts that are uncomfortable, too short, too tight, and so on. So when I find shorts that check all the boxes – are comfortable, aren’t too tight, don’t feel like your butt is hanging out – I tend to get them in multiple colors. These striped gauze material shorts with a smock waist are those kind of shorts. I got them in this black & white stripe and in a solid black because they’re that good – plus I got them on sale for like $9. These shorts are flowy and comfortable – hello elastic waist – and so easy to dress up or down. I wore the…
