    Pink Front Twist Top

I love front twists tops because it’s all done for you and you don’t have to worry about twisting it yourself or front tucking (which I’m horrible at by the way). This front twist top is super soft and I love the mauve-y pink color so much! The top has a soft, cozy feel to it and reminds me of fleece pajamas. It’s the perfect length to wear with leggings so I wore the top with these black and dark grey patterned leggings. Top: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Leggings: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Shoes: Keds via DSW I wore this stylish and comfortable outfit last weekend when…

    Skinny Stripe Sweater

Stripes are such a classic pattern and I do love a good stripe. This sweater is a little different because the thin, skinny stripes are concentrated in the center leaving a thick white trim at the wrists, neckline, and hem. I wore it with black leggings, black flatform espadrilles, and a crystal pull bracelet. Sweater: LOFT | Leggings: J.Crew | Shoes: DSW | Bracelet: Givenchy via Macy’s I usually opt for wide stripes, but I like this skinny black stripes in this sweater. The skinny stripes and boat neck style looks very European. The sweater has that gauzy feel to it so it’s not too heavy and perfect for the…

Restyled: Shaker Knit Sweater + Plaid Shirt Dress

I hope you all had a good weekend and you’re not too down about the fact that it’s back to work today. The outfit I’m sharing today is not just a restyling of the sweater and of the plaid shirt dress, but it’s also kind of a throwback look since it’s kind of 90s looking. I wanted to wear this blue and green plaid shirt dress to work last week, but I knew with it’s lightweight material that I’d need a sweater since I would most likely be cold. Instead of wearing it with a cardigan, I decided to wear my shaker knit sweater over it. I wore sweater tights and…

    Green Two-Toned Sherpa

We got a glimpse of spring yesterday with temperature soaring in to the 70s! It was beautiful and sunny out, but today we’re back to the 50s. Since tomorrow is St. Patrick’s Day I thought this was the perfect opportunity to share this green two-toned sherpa sweatshirt. It’s the perfect option for a casual St. Patrick’s look. It’s slightly cropped. I mean, it won’t show off your stomach, but it hits right at the hip. I wore it with black leggings because it didn’t really bother me that the top didn’t cover my behind. And I finished off the look with my new grey Keds slip ons. My old ones…

    Pastel Orchid Cozy Sweater

Were you affected by the Instagram/Facebook outage yesterday? It was so annoying! By the evening, I was able to post a photo (after it “loading” for 2 hours) and my stories took a few hours to upload as well. I’m hoping today it’s back to normal! As we inch closer to spring, I only have a limited amount of time left to share cozy, warm looks. Today is another cozy outfit that has good colors for spring, like my yellow and pink color block sweater I shared the other day. I love pastels so when I saw this pastel orchid cozy, fleece-y sweatshirt with multicolor pastel bands at the wrist…

    Strawberry Lemonade Sweater Vibes

I’ve been on a color block stripe sweater kick this winter and this yellow and pink one makes me think of strawberry lemonade. It’s nice and thick for winter but the bright colors are the perfect transition in to spring. This is my last look from my winter shoot with Lauren, but was actually the first look we shot that day. I paired it with jeans and my faux suede heeled boots. Sweater: Vici | Jeans: Express | Boots: Red Dress Boutique I love the big block stripes in this sweater. It’s flattering and the colors make me so happy! That wraps up my winter shoot with Lauren. We have…

    Side Button Pencil Skirt

It’s another button filled day with the skirt I’m sharing today. Yesterday I shared a sweater with black piping and button detailing. Today I’m sharing a grey pencil skirt with black side button detailing. It’s super comfortable and perfect for work. And the best part is that it is stretchy and a pull-on skirt! I paired this skirt with a chartreuse sweater. It was too long to wear untucked and too bulky to tuck in, so I tied it up in a twist with a hair tie and tucked it under. Sweater: American Eagle | Skirt: LOFT (here) | Tights: American Eagle | Boots: DSW I paired the skirt and…

    Piped Button Trim Sweater

Last year I got rid of one of my favorite sweaters. It was a black and white striped top with black piping and diagonal black buttons from the neck to the shoulder. Although it was one of my favs, I decided to finally part with it because it was starting to feel a bit snug and I figured it was just time to move on. It was still in good shape, so I sold it on Poshmark. And I’m telling you this was a good top, because the girl who bought it from me said she was buying it because she used to have the same one but hers got…

    Sorel Kinetic Waterproof Boots

Happy Friday! Yesterday was a long day at work. I had parent/teacher conferences from 8am-6pm so it was pretty tiring. I’m hoping today goes by seamlessly and I can just get home to relax (aka do laundry and make dinner). Considering that this past Monday was a snow day, you’d think this week would feel short, but it felt so long! This week has also been really cold. Probably the coldest it’s been in a few weeks with real feel temps in the teens. The cold weather coupled with the snow storm earlier in the week made me want to dedicate a whole post to my Sorel Kinetic Waterproof Boots.…

    Striped Shimmer Sweater

Yesterday I had a snow day and was off from work. It was a good thing too because I was scrambling to figure out what to wear to work. If you want to skip my story, then just scroll down for my outfit details. Otherwise, keep reading! So what happened was on Sunday evening when the snow started to really come down, I was at my parents’ house. I was there for a birthday dinner (my dad and brother). We originally had dinner reservations but the snow storm was poised to hit around dinner time so we decided to order our food to go so that we’d be done eating…
