    April 2019 Favorites

April flew by in a flash and I guess because of that I only have a few favorites this month. Of these few favorites a few of them have to do with entertainment, one is a skincare item, and one is an experience. Let’s get all the entertainment things out of the way first. This is technically from March, but I didn’t watch it until April so that’s why it’s an April favorite. On The Tonight Show, Jimmy Fallon and a few members of The Roots filmed themselves singing “In the Still of the Night” under the Brooklyn Bridge as an homage to doo-wop. I loved it! Next up, a…

    Love the Fur You’re In

Can you believe that Sesame Street turns 50 this year?! Sesame Street is a childhood staple for so many, and it’s so cool to think that a show that people were watching 50 years ago, a show that I watched as a young kid, is still on today for kids to enjoy and learn from. In celebration of the 50th anniversary Sesame Street and Random House Children’s Books have released Love the Fur You’re In. It’s a hardcover book filled with Sesame Street illustrations and “wise and witty advice”. It’s also described as a “funny guide to life that’s just right for fans of all ages, especially those who grew up…

    I Finally Saw Coco

If you know me, you know I love movies and tv. I pride myself in being well versed in a variety of genres. When I was looking at this article about the 50 Best Movies on Netflix Right Now I had seen a good handful of them, but there were a few I hadn’t seen. One being Coco. The Disney movie Coco came out 2 years ago and I just watched it for the first time last night. I know – super late to the game. I love Disney movies and pretty much everything Disney. So why did I wait so long to watch this well-loved movie? To be honest, I was…

Another month coming to an end, can you believe it? We’re a 1/4 of the way through 2019 already! Yesterday, I had an early spring photoshoot with Lauren and I can’t wait to see all the photos and share some with you. Until then and since today is the last day of March, I’m sharing just a few favorites from this month. I actually don’t have that many to share, so this should be quick! First up, my new robe. I wanted a 2nd robe for the days when my other robe is in the wash. I saw this Top Shop light blue plush robe with cute rainbows on it…

Brie Larson – Captain Marvel Premiere Fashion

Captain Marvel came out in theaters the other day. Have you already seen it? I haven’t, but I plan to. I’m just avoiding the crazy crowds! Since I haven’t seen it, I’m not writing about the movie today. But I am writing about the stunning looks star Brie Larson has been wearing to the movie premieres! I’m highlighting the premieres in Los Angeles, New York City, and London. I’m not sure if there have been any other ones so far, but these were the 3 looks I’ve seen so far. Los Angeles Brie wore this gorgeous champagne colored Rodarte gown featuring silver stars – fitting for the woman playing Captain…

    5 Favorite Sandra Bullock Movies

The other day Chrissy Teigen tweeted that she has this thing where she purposely won’t watch movies that are super popular. Just something in her won’t allow her to do it. I think she even joked that she needs to see a therapist for her desire to “withhold joy” from her life. Funny thing is, I can be the same way! Yes, I love movies and tv and if it’s something I really want to see then I will see it. But a lot of times when I haven’t gotten to see something and then everyone is talking about how amazing it is – it loses its appeal to me. It’s…

    Hallmark Movies for Valentine’s Day

As most of you know if you’ve been following me for a while, I love Hallmark movies. No matter how predictable they are, I truly enjoy watching them. Of course, some are much better than others. I shared some Christmas picks back in December that I love enough to watch multiple times. I thought today I’d share 5 Valentine themed Hallmark movies or just love story movies that aren’t necessarily Valentine but would still be good for the holiday. The two I’m sharing that aren’t Valentine specific are a few years old and so might not get as much attention or love as the newer ones so I wanted to…

    January 2019 Favorites

This month has both felt like it’s flown by and dragged on. I can’t believe it’s the last day of January, but at the same time the holidays and winter break feels like ages ago. Anyone else feel that way? As with the end of every month, I’m sharing my monthly favorites today. Let’s get started! First off, Outlander came back for season 4 back in November, but I didn’t catch up until this month. I’m still 3 episodes behind, but the season finale has just aired over the weekend. Now I need to decide if I want to hurry and watch those 3 episodes or if I want to savor…
