    August 2018 Favorites

Can you believe it’s already September? I can’t! Even yesterday when it was the last day of August, it didn’t really hit me that it was the end of August. I have just a few favorites to share this month. I feel like I’ve been saying that a lot lately, but I think when you’re busy you just have less time to think about what you’re really loving lately. First up, if you follow my blog and/or my social media accounts regularly then you know I spent the first half of August in Japan and Hong Kong. While in Japan we had pretty great weather, despite sweating to death in…

    July 2018 Favorites

When this post goes live I should be sitting at the airport waiting to board my flight for vacation! My posts the next few days have already been written and scheduled, but as long as my hotel internet is working I should have my first travel post up this weekend! I’ll be gone for about 2 weeks, so look out for exciting travel posts! The month of July was super busy with family visiting, moving, short trips to Baltimore and historical Philadelphia, and seeing Taylor Swift in concert. With being so busy I don’t have a lot of favorites to share so this post will be short! The first favorite…

Taylor Swift Concert in the Rain

If you watch my Instastories regularly then you may have seen that I was at the Taylor Swift concert Saturday night. You would also know that I absolutely loved it and had the time of my life even in the pouring rain! I wanted to give a quick recap of the concert and share some photos and a video…or two or three. I took so many photos and videos but kept most of the videos fairly short because I didn’t want to damage my phone in the rain! So I would take like 10 second videos and then quickly put it back in the pocket of my fleece jacket under my…

    Taylor Swift Concert Prep

As you can tell from the title of my blog post, I’m getting ready for the Taylor Swift concert this weekend! A fan of her music for years, I’m finally going to a show of hers this weekend. I’ve heard nothing but amazing things over the years by people who have gone to her shows. I always hear that her concerts are nothing short of spectacular and super memorable so I’m really excited! In preparation for the concert, my friend sent me a Spotify playlist of songs that are supposedly part of her set list. But, for this post I’m sharing some of my favorite songs of hers which she…

    Scratch & Draw Book

I’m all about finding new, creative ways to relax and a few years ago I jumped on the adult coloring book bandwagon. A few weeks ago when Quarto reached out to me and asked if I’d like to try one of their Scratch & Draw books, I was immediately intrigued. Instead of coloring, the Scratch & Draw books give you pages of drawings and a blank page with a metallic coating to recreate the drawing on or create something on your own. With the included stylus, you draw on the blank page by scratching away at the metallic coating. I received the Scratch & Draw Enchanted Animals. I love the idea…

Royal Wedding: Prince Harry & Meghan Markle Recap

Did you watch the Royal Wedding yesterday? The coverage started here on the east coast at 5am and I did not wake up that early, but I did wake up at 7:30 and watched from the beginning of what I recorded. Since I could fast forward, I was able to skip over some of the boring parts. I mostly wanted to just see the people arriving and pick out all the famous people, and then of course all the wedding stuff with the royals like their arrivals and the ceremony. After the wedding was over, I immediately began rounding up photos to recap the wedding. Before I get in to…

    April 2018 Favorites

It’s the last day of April, can you believe it? I can’t believe tomorrow is already May, but at the same time April seems to have gone by slowly when you think about Easter being all the way back on April 1 and it seems like ages ago! I only have a few April favorites, so let’s begin! Speaking of Easter, I bought a big bag of the spring color M&Ms and the colors were so pretty. I wish they made them all year round! Next up, I found these dark grey/faded black Mossimo leggings with textured stripes at Target and they are so soft and stretchy! They’ve been great…

    March 2018 Favorites

I know I always say I can’t believe another month has gone by, but I really can’t believe it’s going to be April tomorrow! How are we 3 months in to 2018 already? As with the end of every month I am rounding up some of my favorites from the month. First up, I have an oldie but a good – the Bobbi Brown Long Wear Eye Pencil in the shade “Jet”. I love how smoothly it glides on. My next favorite is my gold layered necklacefrom Baublebar. I’ve shared it twice now, I think, on the blog. Once when I wore it with a gold sequined striped top and again…

    Sculptapalooza

Who doesn’t love a game night? When I was sent the new game, Sculptapalooza, I asked a few of my friends if they wanted to do a game night to play the game. I love that the game has simple rules and is easy to follow. It’s sometimes too much work when there are a gazillion rules and difficult steps to follow. Luckily Sculptapalooza is easy to play and actually a lot of fun! The game gives you a big chunk of play foam, which first of all let’s talk about how awesome play foam is! It’s so easy to mold and best of all it isn’t sticky or messy…

    Oscars 2018 Fashion

Did you watch the Oscars last night? This is the first Oscars in my recent memory that there were so many looks that I just wanted to say “what in the world are they wearing?”. Really, so many bizarre and/or ill fitting looks. But there were still some looks that I really loved so let’s get started! Sandra Bullock was one of my favorite looks of the night. I don’t always love her style, but this Louis Vuitton dress I love. The neckline looks great on her and I love how the gold covers the top half of the dress and then slowly becomes more scattered and shows more black…
