    Tie Dye Cinch Waist Tee

Another day, another cropped length tee, but again I’m okay with it since I’m wearing it with high-waisted bottoms. The tie dye in this tee are so light colored that it’s perfect for people who like tie dye, but not the vibrant sort of tie dye. Or if you’re unsure if you like the trend, then this tee is the perfect foray into the style. The tee is super soft and lightweight with cuffed short sleeves. The waist also has a drawstring to cinch it. Tee: American Eagle (here) | Leggings: Express | Sandals: Vici The tee comes in 5 color options and I got it in this tie dye…

    Orange Floral Cropped Peplum

I can’t believe it’s the last week of school already. The school year really flew by and especially these last 3 months teaching virtually. It’s hard to believe that I’ve been teaching my students via Zoom since mid-March. I feel bad for my students who are missing actually seeing their friends and classmates and I feel especially bad for the seniors who missed out on prom, the last days of senior year, and a normal graduation. I’m working on a blog post for the end of the week, reminiscing about my high school senior year which was pretty long ago now. Anyway, today I’m sharing this orange floral cropped smock…

    Lilac Lips Tee

Everyone’s seen all the graphic lip tees of the tongue sticking out. They’ve been everywhere for over a year probably. I only saw one that I liked and it was a subtle tie dye one but it was sold out, so I never got one. Til now. Although this one is different from the others, which is what really drew me to it. Tee: Pink Lily Boutique (here) | Shorts: Sonoma Goods for Life via Kohl’s | Sandals: Vici The tongue isn’t sticking straight out which is different than the hundreds of other ones out there and the lips are in an animal print, which I think is so fun!…

    Floral Babydoll Top

I’ve really been loving babydoll tops lately because they’re so flowy and comfortable. Plus, I think many of us have put on a few quarantine pounds with the extra eating and less moving around, so babydoll tops are perfect to still look cute, but not be in anything form fitting. This babydoll top has a really pretty floral print, which I think looks almost tropical. The material is like a linen-y type material and the back has really cute faux buttons! Top: The Mint Julep Boutique (here) | Jeans: Express | Sandals: Vici This top is still available in size small. I’m wearing a small for reference. *This post contains affiliate…

    Easy Peasy Lemon Tee

You know the saying, “Easy peasy lemon squeezy”? This graphic tee is the visualization of that. Cute lemon print with cursive lettering that says “Easy Peasy”. I wish things were easy peasy, but everything is crazy in the world and I was in a mood yesterday. For no reason in particular. Just in a mood. So things may not be easy peasy right now, but I can look like it is and send out good vibes! I wore this tee, twisted up and tucked under, with button front denim shorts and my customized beaded bracelets. Such an easy and fresh looking summer look! Tee: The Mint Julep Boutique (here) | Shorts:…

    Smocked Babydoll Maxi Dress

I love maxi dresses and I think I’m going to make a point of wearing more of them this summer. Of course, that means I need to buy more, which isn’t great for my wallet. But anyway, this smocked babydoll maxi dress is one I recently got and it’s so good that’s it’s already sold out! I love the color and the beautiful floral print. The sleeves are semi-sheer and it’s so comfortable to wear. Dress: American Eagle | Sandals: Target Since my dress is sold out, I’ve rounded up some other smocked maxi dresses for you!   Wishing you a good week ahead! I have just 2 school weeks…

    Grey Striped Eyelet Trim Tee

I love stripes and in spring and summer I love eyelet, so when I saw this grey striped eyelet trim tee I thought it was so precious. I also got it in a green floral print cause you know I can’t pass up florals and green is my fav. What I love about this tee is that it’s not just an eyelet trim on the hem, which is a pretty common style. What’s different about it is that the back has a faux tulip style and is trimmed in eyelet. I love it! Tee: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s (here) | Leggings: Express | Sandals: Vici I wore the tee with…

Restyled: Leopard Duster + Denim Shorts

Back in October, I wore this grey leopard, super soft, duster with black leggings and a mint green tank top. I thought I would restyle it for the warmer weather with denim shorts. It’s nice for when you’re cold in the air conditioning and wearing it with shorts keeps you comfortable outside in the mild or even warm weather. Duster: Pink Lily Boutique (here) | Tank Top: J.Crew | Shorts: Sonoma Goods for Life via Kohl’s | Sandals: Target | Ring: Baublebar I love the way dusters look with shorts. So stylish and practical. My duster is still available, too, just fyi! I hope you have a good Saturday! And if…

    Heart Pavé Necklace

I participated in #BlackOutTuesday yesterday on Instagram and only posted on my stories and Twitter with information, resources, news articles etc. I plan to address this on my feed today, but on my Instagram feed I am planning to go back to my normal content photos today. But I want to make clear that just because my photos may be my own and not about current social issues, does not mean that I am not a supporter of the movement and against all forms of racism and police brutality. I feel the best way for me to serve, besides practicing what I preach, signing petitions, donating where I can etc.…

    Striped French Terry Pullover

I hope you all had a good weekend or as good as possible considering the state of the world. I wrote in a little more depth about my feelings about current events on Instagram yesterday and I, as always, I’m most vocal about current events and politics on my Twitter. But on to today’s post. Whenever a clothing item is labeled “french terry” it catches my attention because french terry is so soft and that perfect mid-weight material. Not too thin, but not thick either. So when I saw that this white and navy blue striped pullover had a quarter zip detail and cinched hem and was french terry –…
