Come Book Shopping With Me

It’d been a while since I’d been to the bookstore so I planned a little Barnes & Noble outing with my friend on our day off for President’s Day. As I often do, I went in with a list of items I was looking for so that I don’t go too crazy buying things. And as I often do, I ended up with an extra item that I couldn’t resist!

First, I dressed for my book shopping with a fitting sweatshirt – my Illyrian Snowball Fight sweatshirt from Blissfully Bookish is so cute! I pre-ordered it back in the fall and just got it at the beginning of the month. The sweatshirt plus my cord book lover tote from Inkwell Threads made for a winning combo.

So what did I get?

The black and gold Barnes & Noble tote I got as my free tote for the year for being a premium member. I bought the 3 books that were on my list to get that day – Beg, Borrow, or Steal by Sarah Adams, which is the third and final book in the When in Rome series. I also got the first two books in the Gold Rush Ranch series by Elsie Silver – Off to the Races and A Photo Finish. Lastly, I impulse bought the Kingsley plushie, but 100% do not regret it! I remember seeing Hannah Nicole Maehrer post about this plushie last year and thought it was so adorable. I’ve seen it before at the store, but couldn’t resist it this time especially because I love Kingsley from the Assistant to the Villain series.

It was a successful book store trip!
