Book Review: Dream Girl Drama
The newest book in Tessa Bailey’s Big Shot series is Dream Girl Drama and I really enjoyed it!

The novel follows Sig Gauthier and Chloe Clifford. They both made appearances in The Au Pair Affair and it was clear that something was going on between them or they were fighting the desire for something to happen between them. This is their story.
Sig is a professional hockey player and Chloe is very wealthy, young woman who is considered a harp prodigy. When they meet one day, they instantly hit it off. The chemistry is off the charts and they want to see each other again. They were both excited to have met each other and looked forward to getting together, possibly later that night. But when Sig arrives at the house of his estranged father’s new girlfriend for a dinner, he sees Chloe again. She is the daughter of Sig’s girlfriend. And to make things even worse, their parents tell them they are getting married and they’re going to be step siblings.
Despite how much they like each other, they realize now that nothing can ever happen between them. But will they be able to stop themselves from going too far and remain best friends and future step siblings when they spend all their time together and truly love each other?
I loved this book and really liked Sig and Chloe. The slow burn was worth it in this book and it made the tension so good and entertaining. I really appreciated that Tessa Bailey made Chloe spoiled, but not snooty or clueless character. She started off really sheltered, but she wants to learn how to live on her own away from her mom and Sig really helps her learn how to survive in the city (Boston) while supporting her dreams. And Chloe really cares for Sig, which is heartwarming because he hasn’t had a lot of love in his life.
I’m already missing Sig and Chloe and I hope they’re both in the next Big Shots book!
Read this if you want a spicy sports romcom with the friends to lovers and forbidden love tropes.
