Tweed Blazer
So I didn’t get my snow day yesterday, but I did get an early dismissal so that was nice! Though now I feel like it’s going to be harder to get back in to the swing of things after the holiday weekend. Anyway, I know we’re all in full on holiday mode now, but I have 1 more fall look for you. The good thing is this tweed blazer is a great holiday look too so it’s an easy transition piece to go from fall to holiday/winter. I wore this tweed blazer with pearl details with jeans, a pink lace trim cami, and black heels. I finished off the look…

Christmas Bow Brooch
I don’t remember why, but for some reason I was looking at bows on Etsy. Random, I know, but I really can’t remember why I was looking! Anyway, I came across this bow ribbon with a large beaded heart and it had the perfect Christmas colors – red and green. I thought it would be a perfect accessory for the holidays. Whether pinned to your button down as a sort of tie, on to a sweater as a brooch, or on to your tote bag as a little fun Christmas detail – I thought it would be so fun to work with. During my holiday photoshoot with Lauren, I decided…

Cozy Blazer
A few days ago I had parent/teacher conferences at school. It was a super long day. The students had off, but we had conferences from 8am-6pm. Since I was going to be seeing parents, I thought it was a great opportunity to wear my new blazer. This blazer isn’t just any blazer, though! It is actually called a cozy blazer and it is just that – cozy. It has the fitted fit of a blazer, pocket, and a little shape at the shoulders, but the material is so soft, a little stretchy, and as the name suggests incredibly cozy! I decided to wear it with my eyelet trimmed sweater tank…

Blazer & Lace
Yesterday I wrote about bright colors and today I’m bringing you a monochromatic look. I went out for my friend’s birthday Friday night and knew I wanted to wear this striped lace top, which has a beautiful back (which I forgot to photograph). Not only is it sheer lace, but it is sleeveless so not ideal for the cold temperatures that night. I decided to wear this one button blazer and I felt like it really completed the look and gave it a really sophisticated feel. I then paired it with nude wedges to play off the stripes of the top and do something different than black heels. I was…

Street Style: Houndstooth Blazer
Street Style: Houndstooth Blazer by lifeaccordingtojamie featuring blue wall art A houndstooth piece is definitely on my wish list. A few weeks ago Polyvore posted one of their Street Style Challenges and it had to revolve around a houndstooth blazer. This is the one I chose. I paired it with skinny jeans, peep toe booties (also something I’d love to invest in), and an asymmetrical clutch. I actually got a similar clutch in cream a few weeks ago which I’ll have to post an outfit with soon. I decided to put this picture of London in the background, because when I think houndstooth, I think city chic. 2 things come…
