Color Block Henley Tank
I first saw these henley style tank tops on Amazon months ago and I loved the look. There were so many colors (some solid and some color block) to choose from. I believe there are 25 or 26 to choose from! I decided to get this blue/mint and grey color block one. When I placed the order we were in the thick of the pandemic and online orders were really delayed. I think the estimated delivery for this top was late August since it wasn’t an essential item. I got it in July so that was a nice surprise! Tank Top: Amazon (here) | Shorts: Kohl’s | Sandals: Vici The…

Rose Gold Chevron Sweatshirt
If you saw my post a few days ago where I styled a pastel striped sweatshirt , I mentioned being all about the comfies on the weekends. This past weekend I wore another super cute sweatshirt – this one has a rosy pink and gold/tan color blocking in a chevron style that wraps all the way around. Literally rose gold. I wore the comfy sweatshirt with brown leggings and, of course, my rose gold star sneakers that I’m loving so much these days. Sweatshirt: Abercrombie & Fitch | Leggings: LC Lauren Conrad (here) | Sneakers: Red Dress Boutique (here) | Earrings: LOFT (here) Love the color combo of the color blocking against…

Strawberry Lemonade Sweater Vibes
I’ve been on a color block stripe sweater kick this winter and this yellow and pink one makes me think of strawberry lemonade. It’s nice and thick for winter but the bright colors are the perfect transition in to spring. This is my last look from my winter shoot with Lauren, but was actually the first look we shot that day. I paired it with jeans and my faux suede heeled boots. Sweater: Vici | Jeans: Express | Boots: Red Dress Boutique I love the big block stripes in this sweater. It’s flattering and the colors make me so happy! That wraps up my winter shoot with Lauren. We have…

Color Block Chevron Sweater
If you know me, you know I love my sweaters. I collect cute ones every winter and don’t get rid of nearly as many as I buy so I’ve got a ton of sweaters in my closet. This color block chevron sweater is a new one this season. The colors give me 70s vibes, which if you’ve been following me for a while you also know I’m totally in to these days. Sweater: Vici | Jeans: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Boots: UGG I love all the colors in this sweater and they go together so well. This sweater is so soft and definitely oversized with its slightly ballooned…

Color Block Tinsel Stripe
So I have a love/hate relationship with the sweater(s) I’m sharing with you today. Around the holidays I bought these two sweaters in different colors. I thought the color block stripes were so pretty, but what really sold me on them was the little stripes breaking up the blocks that look like tinsel! So pretty. I really have nothing bad to say about these sweaters whatsoever. Both colors are so pretty, the tinsel-y stripes are fun and make the sweaters even more pretty, they’re soft and cozy. What could be bad about them? So the hate part of the relationship has nothing to do with the sweaters actually and more…

Ribbed Color Block Dress
Color blocking is such an easy way to add some fun to a look – all in one piece. I love this ribbed dress with stripes and color blocking. I love the colors and the fit is amazing. I love the silhouette of this dress. It’s loose so it’s comfortable, but it’s not too loose that it’s unflattering or frumpy looking. I wore it with grey tights and black slouchy boots to work as well as a long rose gold druzy necklace with a tassel. Dress: The Mint Julep Boutique (here) | Tights: American Eagle | Boots: DSW | Necklace: Bungalow 20 (here) | Watch: Michael Kors The color combo is perfect…

Spring Color Block
I love color blocking – I think it’s the perfect way to make a simple outfit, in this case a button down sweater, look more interesting than it really is. Because let’s face it, it’s just a button down sweater! But the vibrant color blocking of the orange and this purply/pink/fuchsia color make this ordinary sweater so much more. Sweater: LOFT Watch: Anne Klein These are definitely not two colors I would’ve thought to pair up on my own, but once I saw the combination it was like they were meant to be together! And as I usually do at some point during the week, here’s a look inside my Monday-Friday makeup…

Color Block Top
Color Block pieces are so on trend right now and I’m all for it. It’s such an easy look and with just the most basic of color block items, you can look so put together. I feel like it’s one of those looks you can put very little effort in, but still comes off looking so stylish. Top: Express Pants: New York & Company Shoes: Abella Randy Wedge Sandal via DSW Watch: Fossil I decided to go with grey pants instead of black just to soften the look a bit. What are your thoughts on color blocking?
