November Favorites
The holiday season is definitely upon us and the last month of the year has begun. I can’t believe it’s already December! Here is a round-up of some of my favorites from the month of November. Some are included in the little collage below. November Favorites by lifeaccordingtojamie featuring Sigma Beauty makeup brushes Favorite Makeup Item: I had a hard time deciding what was my favorite item of the month in terms of makeup. I decided on the Smashbox Photo Finish More than Primer Blemish Control Primer. This primer is so silky smooth and feels like a moisturizer. It’s a nice change from the silicon-y type primers I’ve been using in…

Embellished Sweatshirt
Embellished sweaters or sweatshirts are very on trend this season and I love it! I am a huge fan of mixing style with comfort and embellished sweat shirts are the epitome of this. I’ve seen so many that I’ve loved either in stores, while online window shopping, or on blog posts. I’ve even bought a few myself. Yesterday (or today as I’m typing this a few hours in advance) was an early dismissal day at work before Thanksgiving break. Since it’s technically our last day of work for the week I was able to dress down. I also donated money to a fundraiser the seniors were running for Mustache Movember…

Blazer & Lace
Yesterday I wrote about bright colors and today I’m bringing you a monochromatic look. I went out for my friend’s birthday Friday night and knew I wanted to wear this striped lace top, which has a beautiful back (which I forgot to photograph). Not only is it sheer lace, but it is sleeveless so not ideal for the cold temperatures that night. I decided to wear this one button blazer and I felt like it really completed the look and gave it a really sophisticated feel. I then paired it with nude wedges to play off the stripes of the top and do something different than black heels. I was…

Floral Stitching
The weather has turned from cool, autumn days to pretty chilly seemingly overnight. To top it off the past two days have been windy and a little rainy. Therefore, my color palette hasn’t been the brightest as of late. This could also be affected by the fact that I’ve been so tired lately! I wore this grey 3/4 sleeve top yesterday with dark jean skinnies and boots. The top has white floral stitching on the front. The brightness of the white stands out perfectly against the blue-ish grey of the material. The jeans look almost black in these pictures, but they are actually a very dark blue denim so my…

Polka Dot Layered Top OOTD
It’s a brand new week and I have a new OOTD for you all. However, it’s technically an outfit from last Friday. Maybe it’s wishful thinking on my part that it was still the weekend! So today I’m showing you a layered look. It is one piece, but looks like separates and I love the effect. Top: Loft Jeans: Loft Shoes: Keds Crash Back Slip-on Sneaker via DSW Watch: Fossil I don’t remember exactly where I got this necklace from, but I feel like it was from JCrew Factory. I loved pairing this necklace with the top, because the top has this casual, classy vibe with it’s grey and white combo. It looks classy…

Stretch Cords
Stretch cord pants. Are. Life. Seriously, they are my favorite pants to wear to work. They look work appropriate because they essentially look like a very thin lined cord or corduroy pant, but they are stretch so you’re walking around in the most comfortable pants ever all day. Here’s a secret – the button at the top is even fake and it’s all elastic on top. Best thing ever. Cardigan: Chadwicks Top: Loft Pants; Uniqlo Shoes: Chinese Laundrey via DSW I love that the pinwale (the lines) are so fine on these pants. In the past, I have had wider pinwale pants, but these fine lines look more youthful and fresh whereas I feel like…
