    Tiger Lily Jumpsuit

Last Saturday I went in to the city for a New York Fashion Week launch party for an upcoming fashion app. I’m going to write all about that in a few days, but today I’m sharing what I wore! Since it was New York Fashion Week, I wanted to look fashionable of course! My pre-order of this tiger lily jumpsuit from Vici came just in time. The jumpsuit has a pretty floral design all over – very fall like! It’s satiny feeling and has leg slits and ties at the ankles. So comfortable and stylish! I had to pin the top closed as it opens all the way. Since the…

    Floral Lattice Top

It’s only Tuesday, but I feel like I’ve been through a week of work already! Hopefully today doesn’t drag or feel too tiring. For the look I’m sharing today I wore a floral lattice detailed top with cropped jeans and rose gold mules. I recently wore the same top and mules to work but with black pants to make it more work appropriate. Top: New York & Company | Jeans: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Mules: Target I love the design on the top. The navy blue background with the swirls of floral print in champagne, gold, blue, green, etc. is so pretty. The lattice detailing is just an…

    Pink & Green Floral Dress

Yesterday, I went to in to the city for a New York Fashion Week event to celebrate the launch of an upcoming fashion app. I was so on the fence about going, but I’m glad I did go and got out of my comfort zone. If you saw my Instagram stories yesterday you got to see some of the event. I’ll be writing all about it later in the week! But today’s post is about this dress with a beautifully vibrant pink and green floral print and ruffle detailing. I love the pops of hot pink against the green. I wore it with pink ankle strap block heel sandals. These…

    Button Front Dress

Happy Labor Day! I have some things to do around the house today and just keeping it a low key day as I’m mentally preparing for school to start tomorrow. I’m teaching new grades this year so it’s going to be an adjustment and I can’t just go in tomorrow and do what I have been doing for the past few years. I’ll let you guys know how it goes! Today, I’m sharing a trend that I’ve really loved seeing this summer – button front dresses! I love the style and look and I wish I got more than just this one this summer. This button front dress is white…

    Floral Co-Ord Set

I love the look of co-ord sets and I’d been wanting a set for a while. A lot of them are crop tops though and I wanted to find something with a top that was a little longer. This set is so cute and comfy. I love the light pink color and the floral print. The top is still a bit cropped, but it’s not nearly as short as the ones I usually see. The shorts have an elastic waistband and go up on the sides a bit. I wore them a little higher on the waist than usual just so they could meet the hem of the top a…

    Floral Flounce Dress

Did you catch my post yesterday featuring my visit to The Peninsula for afternoon tea? It was a really nice experience and the hotel was so pretty. There is a dress code for afternoon tea, so I wore this sleeveless floral dress with flounce detailing and a little tie at the neckline. It was the perfect dress and it was summery and feminine for the occasion. It also is loose fitting and a breathable fabric which was perfect for the Hong Kong humidity. Dress: Francesca’s | Sandals: Target I love the muted colors in the floral print. It will be a great transition piece in to fall with a nice…

    Floral Tie Shoulder Romper

Today’s my first day back at work! I hope the day doesn’t drag and I’m not already “done” for the year after day 1. I’ll let you guys know how it goes! But thinking back to a more carefree time in my life aka a week ago when I was in Hong Kong –  I wore this floral romper with tie shoulders and a wrap/surplice detail. You got a glimpse of it if you saw my post on my day around Central, the Symphony of Lights, and Victoria Peak. The ties are actually stitched so you can tie them how you like but the straps won’t come undone. The floral…

    Yellow Floral Midi

Good morning from Hong Kong! If you read my recent posts you know I wasn’t sure if my flight on Thursday would be delayed because of a typhoon headed towards Japan. I’m happy to say that I made it to Hong Kong with just an hour delay. The dress I’m sharing today is a yellow floral midi dress, which I’ve mentioned before. I wore the black version on the blog a few weeks ago (here) and you saw it again if you read my Kyoto Day 2 post from Wednesday. I wore the yellow version on my last full day in Tokyo. The weather was rainy, but I didn’t let…

    Dark Floral Midi Dress

Happy Friday! Tomorrow I’m going to the Taylor Swift concert – if you missed my concert prep blog post a few days ago click (here) – and I’ve been obsessively checking the weather because the forecast keeps changing. It’s supposedly going to rain for like a week straight starting this weekend and I’m hoping it holds off til after the concert! While I take a break from stalking various weather outlets, I’m sharing this dark floral midi dress that I wore to Baltimore last Friday. It’s a little closer to a maxi length on me than a midi, but I still love it! It fits perfectly and the floral print…

Floral Scalloped Trim Blouse + Tulip Shorts

Thursday already? This week is flying by! Yesterday I spent the day in Philadelphia (historical Philly to be exact). To say my legs and feet are exhausted after walking miles yesterday would be an understatement! I’ll write a blog post about my day trip there in the near future. But for today’s post I’m sharing this floral sleeveless blouse with scalloped trim along the buttons and chambray tulip shorts. Guys, this top is so simple yet might be my favorite piece I’ve gotten all summer. It is so pretty. The colors are just so vibrant, but subdued at the same time if that’s possible. Seriously, the colors are everything. The…
