    Navy Floral Romper

Last Friday night I went out to dinner with some friends for my birthday. It was the perfect opportunity for me to get to wear this navy floral romper. It is seriously the most perfect romper. It’s stretchy, feels so comfortable, fits perfectly, has the prettiest floral print and colors, and has an open skirt type layer. I wore it with a fringed cardigan for most of dinner because of the air conditioning, but I liked it with the cardigan too! I wore my mustard bow mules to bring out the yellows in the floral. I finished off the look with my nude and clear bag and a statement ring…

Restyled: Lace Cardigan + Floral Hi-Lo

Yesterday’s outfit that I shared was from when I was sightseeing at Alcatraz and Angel Island during my San Francisco vacation. Today I’m sharing the outfit I wore on my day trip to Monterey, Carmel, and 17-Mile Drive! For this day I knew I wanted to wear something that was comfortable for the drive and also something with layers since I didn’t know what the weather would be like from town to town. I decided to wear leggings so I would be comfortable all day, so I needed to wear a top that would work with them. I wore a long cardigan with a lace bottom and a floral hi-lo…

    Floral Ruffle Henley Shell

When this post goes up, I should be at the airport waiting to board my flight for vacation. As mentioned before, I have a few posts already scheduled for this week and later in the week I will start posting travel content! But feel free to follow me on Instagram Stories to see what I’m up to! Today, though, I’m sharing this dark floral ruffle henley shell and denim shorts. So last week I had an appointment and thought I should probably look a little less casual for it, but at the same time it was 90 degrees. So I wore this floral sleeveless top which is for sure a…

    Sage Green Button Front Dress

I’m sure you’ve seen this style dress a lot this summer and maybe you love the style as much as I do! I think it’s the kind of dress that would be flattering on a lot of different body types with it’s loose structure and drop waist look with the subtle ruffles at the bottom. I love the buttons on this one and the sage green floral print. Definitely a dress made for me! I got this dress in a medium and I found it still to be a bit short so I’ve only worn it when I know I won’t have to be very active. It’s not that short, but…

    Navy Floral Getaway Shirt

I think this button-down shirt is called the “Getaway Shirt” because it looks like a tropical shirt. I’d like a tropical vacation right now! But that’s not happening so I’ll just pretend with this short sleeve floral top. I have this top in another print and I’m so glad I ordered two because it is so soft! I wore the top with denim shorts and just to make the top a little more feminine – because these kinds of tropical shirts can look a bit masculine – I wore a light blue lace bralette underneath and left the top unbuttoned enough to show off the lace. Top: Abercrombie & Fitch…

    Red Floral Romper

We’re at the height of the summer so there won’t be a slowing down of the florals and rompers for me anytime soon. But, let’s be real – I’m all about the floral prints all year long and not just in the summer. I mentioned the other day (either on here or on Instagram – or both) that I’ve been wearing more linen than usual lately and this romper is also linen. What drew me to it was it’s bright colors and floral design. The crossover design in the back is a nice touch and I love the neckline and length of the shorts. All around it’s a winner for…

    Floral Eyelet Button-Down

Before I get in to this top, I just want to preface this post by saying that I never know whether to call it a button-up or button-down. What do you guys call it? I saw this sweet top at Forever 21 when I was shopping with my cousins in Georgia back in April and I was immediately drawn to it. The delicate eyelet detailing and sweet floral print were the perfect combination for me. It is cropped and has a boxy look to it and although you’d think that would mean it would have an oversized look, I actually sized up 2! I normally wear a small at Forever…

    Tulip Tie Back Tee

I love tulip back tops because the crossover detailing is always so cute. This light pink tee has a tulip back, but also ties at the bottom for an extra detail. I’ve been noticing more tops that tie in the back like this lately, especially casual/loungewear/work out tops. Top: J.Crew | Shorts: American Rag via Macy’s | Sandals: Target | Bracelet: Express I paired this tulip tie back tee with floral shorts, teal sandals, and a pretty overlapping wrap bracelet with a turn-lock closure. I love floral shorts and these go with so many different color tops since the dark floral is sort of subtle and easy to pair with…

    Floral Puff Sleeve Swing Dress

I hope everyone’s week is off to a good start so far! This week is full of more appointments for me – basically taking care of all the things I didn’t have time to do during the school year like get my annual physical etc. But, so far this summer break there have been some fun things too like the book event I went to last week for Spin the Dawn. It was a hot day that day that I went in to the city for the book event. Around 90 degrees and sunny. This floral puff sleeve swing dress was a great outfit choice because the swing style meant…

    Blue Floral Lace Trim Dress

This dress has two things I love – florals and lace. It’s like it was practically made for me! When I first saw this dress online, I saw it in white and I immediately loved it. But then, I saw it was offered in blue and I had to decide which color I wanted. The white was what I originally saw and loved, but that blue was pretty too. As you can see I went with the blue. My choice was mainly due to the fact that I wasn’t sure if the white would be see-through. The back of the dress is low which is a really pretty detail for…
