    Book Review: Arrows of Fire

    The book I’m sharing with you today is Arrows of Fire by Marlen Suyapa Bodden. If you like history, then this one may be of interest to you. I love history so I found the topic really interesting, a little sad, and actually a bit of mixed emotions about the topic. The book is basically about Spain invading Mexico and the war between the Spanish and the native Mexicans. Montezuma vs. Cortes. I don’t know a lot about Mexican history – like at all.     Capitol Dome

    Yesterday was a long, but good day in the city. I went to a book launch event and had a great time. But more on that in a post this weekend! Now I’ve got a lot of housekeeping things to take care of (literally and figuratively – laundry and cooking but also blog work). While scrolling through photos on my phone I came across my photos from my trip to Washington, DC during the holidays. I saw these photos I took in the Capitol Building – in the rotunda.
