    Floral Lattice Top

It’s only Tuesday, but I feel like I’ve been through a week of work already! Hopefully today doesn’t drag or feel too tiring. For the look I’m sharing today I wore a floral lattice detailed top with cropped jeans and rose gold mules. I recently wore the same top and mules to work but with black pants to make it more work appropriate. Top: New York & Company | Jeans: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Mules: Target I love the design on the top. The navy blue background with the swirls of floral print in champagne, gold, blue, green, etc. is so pretty. The lattice detailing is just an…

    Pink & Green Floral Dress

Yesterday, I went to in to the city for a New York Fashion Week event to celebrate the launch of an upcoming fashion app. I was so on the fence about going, but I’m glad I did go and got out of my comfort zone. If you saw my Instagram stories yesterday you got to see some of the event. I’ll be writing all about it later in the week! But today’s post is about this dress with a beautifully vibrant pink and green floral print and ruffle detailing. I love the pops of hot pink against the green. I wore it with pink ankle strap block heel sandals. These…

    Blue Dolman Sleeve Front Tie

You’ve probably seen this style of top a lot on your social media this summer. You might even own one. So many brands/retailers put out their version of this waffle knit/thermal style tee with buttons and a front tie. What I like about this one is that its a dolman sleeve top so it’s more slouchy and loose aka comfortable! Originally, I wanted this top in a pretty light purple/lavender color but it was sold out in my size. I got it in a light powder blue instead and I really like it! I paired it over the weekend with dark grey shorts and my flatform sandals that I included…

    Green Front Tie Dress

I finally watched¬†To All The Boys I Loved Before last night and it was as good as everyone says! I really loved it and I even teared up. Have you seen it yet? So if you watch my Instagram Stories then you’ve probably heard me mention a green dress a few times this past week. I took some photos with it on two weekends ago and I was going to wear it to work until I found out we could wear jeans for our 2 weeks of professional development. I’ve decided to wear it on the first day of school this Tuesday with a cardigan and flats or my beloved…

    Floral Co-Ord Set

I love the look of co-ord sets and I’d been wanting a set for a while. A lot of them are crop tops though and I wanted to find something with a top that was a little longer. This set is so cute and comfy. I love the light pink color and the floral print. The top is still a bit cropped, but it’s not nearly as short as the ones I usually see. The shorts have an elastic waistband and go up on the sides a bit. I wore them a little higher on the waist than usual just so they could meet the hem of the top a…

    Bright Stripe Wrap Dress

Continuing on with my summer looks, I’m sharing this bright striped ruffle wrap dress today. Well, it looks like a wrap dress but it’s all stitched and doesn’t require any tying or buttons so I guess it’s more a “wrap style” dress. I love the ruffle detailing and the rainbow bright stripes are so fun and just scream summer. Since the dress is pretty low cut I wore a lace bandeau underneath. Dress: ASOS | Bandeau: Aerie | Flip Flops: Old Navy This dress makes me want to go on a tropical vacation. Like, now. It also reminds me of popsicles – in the best way possible. Now I’m off…

    Palm Print Front Tie Romper

Summer is winding down, but I still have a few summer looks to share. This white front tie romper has the prettiest palm or tropical print. I love the light colors for a fresh look. I took these photos before I left for vacation so they are a few weeks old, but it’s a look that I can still wear while the weather is warm…and on a day I’m not at work. The straps come in towards the neck like a halter style and tie through the loops of the back. This romper is perfect for those hot days or for a beach day since there is the opening in…

    Floral Flounce Dress

Did you catch my post yesterday featuring my visit to The Peninsula for afternoon tea? It was a really nice experience and the hotel was so pretty. There is a dress code for afternoon tea, so I wore this sleeveless floral dress with flounce detailing and a little tie at the neckline. It was the perfect dress and it was summery and feminine for the occasion. It also is loose fitting and a breathable fabric which was perfect for the Hong Kong humidity. Dress: Francesca’s | Sandals: Target I love the muted colors in the floral print. It will be a great transition piece in to fall with a nice…

    Floral Tie Shoulder Romper

Today’s my first day back at work! I hope the day doesn’t drag and I’m not already “done” for the year after day 1. I’ll let you guys know how it goes! But thinking back to a more carefree time in my life aka a week ago when I was in Hong Kong –¬† I wore this floral romper with tie shoulders and a wrap/surplice detail. You got a glimpse of it if you saw my post on my day around Central, the Symphony of Lights, and Victoria Peak. The ties are actually stitched so you can tie them how you like but the straps won’t come undone. The floral…

    Sailor Shorts

How can adding a few buttons to shorts make them so much cuter? I’ve always thought sailor shorts were so stylish and an easy way to dress up a summer look. When I saw that LOFT had black ones this summer and they fit me perfectly and so comfortably, I had to get them. I wore these black sailor shorts with my reversible tank top that I first shared last summer in (this post). I wore the solid teal color side instead of the floral – shocking for me, I know! – because I didn’t want to stand out! I wore this outfit on my first full day in Hong…
