    Pumpkin Rolls

No, these aren’t pumpkin flavored rolls – they’re just rolls shaped like pumpkins! I saw this recipe on Pinterest a few weeks ago and thought they’d be such a cute idea for dinner rolls at Thanksgiving. So, I made them! They weren’t hard to make, but will take a few hours so just be aware of that. There may have been some tears on my part when I was making these, but that had nothing to do with the difficulty level at all. Read on to find out what happened! The recipe uses Rhodes Bake ‘n Serve Dinner Rolls and I found them in my supermarket so I got a…

Mustard Yellow Striped Zipper Crew Neck Sweater

Happy Thanksgiving! What are your plans for the holiday? In recent years Thanksgiving has become my favorite holiday. What’s not to love? Delicious food, reflecting on what you’re thankful for, and kicking off the Christmas season for real. While I love love love Christmas, it’s always the build up to Christmas that is most fun for me. By the time you get to Christmas day I feel deflated because it’s all over! But Thanksgiving is when I start decorating for Christmas and shopping for it etc., so it’s the fun, happy part of the holiday season – not the sad it’s over part. Does that make sense? Anyway, I wore this…

Happy Thanksgiving + Thanksgiving Tablescape Goals

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope all my readers who celebrate have a wonderful day filled with time with loved ones and good food! The above photo is from my buffet table. I showed off my Happy Harvest sign in this post (here). Since that post I added these little glass gourds that my mom got for me. So cute! For the past 2 years I have shared some Thanksgiving tablescape goals/inspiration on here. I love looking at tablescape inspo. They’re all so pretty and fit different styles. I’ve decided to round up a few new ones I found this year. I found all of these photos from Pinterest. I love how…

    Thanksgiving Tablescapes

Happy Thanksgiving! Last year I shared some Thanksgiving table setting goals and I loved browsing the Internet to find tablescape inspiration that I wanted to do it again this year. So a few days ago I did a Google search and found a few tablescapes that I loved and would be perfect for a Thanksgiving table. I actually had to have my old post pulled up to make sure I didn’t accidentally choose the same table decor images from last year! This first one, I found through Pinterest. The pumpkin planters as centerpieces are so fall festive! They are like the pumpkin planters I made, but fancier and much more…

    Apple Pie + Leaf Cutouts

Is there anything more Thanksgiving than apple pie? Well, besides turkey obviously. And maybe pumpkin and sweet potato pie, but apple is more up my alley, plus apple is pretty much an American staple. I’ve been making apple pie for years now. Last year I started making the lattice tops instead of simply covering the entire top with the top crust. This year, I really wanted to make the leaf cutouts to cover the top of the pie. So on my last trip to the mall I stopped in Williams-Sonoma and bought a fall set of pie cutters. I made my apple pie as usual using store bought dough, slicing…

    Thanksgiving OOTD: Lace + Necktie

Necktie blouses are really in style right now and I found the perfect one for me earlier this fall. When I got it, I knew it would be the perfect blouse to wear for Thanksgiving so I wore it yesterday and I think I love it even more than when I first bought it. Blouse: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Pants: Uniqlo I have had some necktie blouses in the past (and still have them) and I’ve even worn them on here. However, those blouses have always had the ties attached to the blouse and I never wore them tied but instead always left them undone. This necktie blouse, on the…

    Thanksgiving Table Setting Goals

Happy Thanksgiving! I hope all my American readers both here and abroad have a wonderful day celebrating with family and friends. For today’s post, I’ve decided to talk about beautiful Thanksgiving table settings or tablescapes. I have always loved seeing pictures of gorgeous table settings, especially for the holidays. The meticulous planning, color schemes, china, centerpieces, etc. is always spot on in these photos. I love all different looks and themes as well – rustic, modern, traditional, bohemian and the list goes on. What prompted this post is I received a holiday catalog from Williams-Sonoma and the front cover had a beautiful Thanksgiving dinner table and I thought to myself, “I…

    Happy Thanksgiving!

Thanksgiving Table by lifeaccordingtojamie featuring Fitz and Floyd Happy Thanksgiving to all my American friends and readers! The table in the set above is not my Thanksgiving table, but I wish it was! I dream to have an immaculately decorated table like that one day. Candles, perfect little bouquets, gorgeous china and stemware, and the little bare trees definitely lend to the fall/winter feel. Hopefully one day! In the meantime here in reality, I want to express my thanks and gratitude for all of you. I love blogging and no words can describe how happy I am that I began this journey a year and a half ago. But, what…

    Thanksgiving Turkey Cinnamon Buns

No, these cinnamon buns do not contain turkey in them – that would be sorta gross. What I’m sharing with you today are cinnamon buns decorated to look like turkeys for Thanksgiving! I found this cute idea from Pillsbury and I made a slight change. This is very easy to do! All you need is a pack of Pillsbury Cinnamon Buns. You’ll cook them in a round pan. Once they’re cooked, you can ice your cinnamon buns and then stick bacon (I ripped the strips in half) strips into the buns to act as the feathers of the turkey. Pillsbury had sugar eyes, but I didn’t have those and I wasn’t…
