Christmas in Coconut Creek by @karissakinwordwrite Christmas in Coconut Creek by @karissakinwordwrites was such a fun read and my favorite Christmas read so far this season! 🎄📚The novel follows Ophelia and Frankie. Ophelia lives in Colorado but takes a few weeks off work to visit her best friend in Florida for the holidays. Just for fun, she spends her time at the airport playing around on a dating app when she matches with a good looking guy who is former military. And that guy just so happens to be sitting next to her on the plane. There is definite chemistry, but just when the two think they'll never see each other again, they learn that Ophelia's best friend and Frankie's best friend/roommate are a couple so they will be spending a lot of time together for the next few weeks. ✈️ I loved Ophelia, Frankie, Natalia, and Matteo! I loved Ophelia and Frankie together. Their banter was so fun. It was really beautiful to watch their relationship grow and how they went from individuals who felt very solitary in many ways to realizing they could rely on each other too. 🥹🩷 The book is filled with laughs, banter, spice, and also a couple emotional moments that did have my heart aching at times!🩷 This is the first book the Dirty Delta series which is going to follow Frankie’s other best friends from Delta Team. I can’t wait!📖 Read this if you want a spicy Christmas romcom with the friends with benefits to lovers trope! Their mothers used to be a very popular rock duo that had a falling out and broke up 30 years ago. People have wanted them to reunite for year. Melody and Beat have always ignored the questions from the press and public, but when Beat is in need of some money he considers a reality tv offer that will pay him and Melody a million dollars if they can get their mothers to get back together to perform on Christmas Eve at Rockefeller Center. 🎶🎄 Melody spent all her teenage years being ridiculed by the press for her looks, braces, etc. so she has enjoyed being out of the spotlight as an adult. But when she finds out that Beat, her long time crush, is considering a reality show to reunite their mothers she seriously considers putting herself back out in the public eye. However, Beat has always felt protective of her – even from afar – and as much as he needs this show and reunion to work he doesn’t want to see Melody get hurt.🩷 Will the two who have secretly liked each other for the past 14 years finally get together? Will they succeed in getting their mothers to reunite?🩷 I really enjoyed this book! I would’ve loved an epilogue and a little more to the ending, but I loved Beat & Melody, the fun banter, the spice, and storyline! 📖🩷 Read this if you want a spicy Christmas romcom 🩷.
