    Eyelet Medallion Sleeve Top

It’s Wednesday! I’m not sure if this week is going by quickly or slowly. I’ve been so busy that I feel like I don’t really have time to think about it. The look I’m sharing today is what I actually wore to work yesterday except different shoes and I wore a gold watch rather than a bracelet. I shot this look over the weekend with colorful sandals and I wore brown and cream flats to work yesterday. I love the eyelet medallion sleeves. Such a pretty detail! Top: LOFT | Pants: Old Navy | Sandals: DSW | Bracelet: Express The top is oversized, but I think it’s a good option…

    Sheer Ruffle Dot

My work/school year may be over for summer but I still have one or two more outfits that I wore to work to share with you. The first one up is this sheer ruffle dot top. The body is black, but the yoke and sleeves are sheer with a white dot design. There is a little ruffle detailing at the shoulders, but other than that the top is pretty simple. The sheer ruffle dot design is what makes this top different and fun, but still classic. I wore white pants with the top to lighten the look and bring out the white dots on the top. Top: LOFT | Pants:…

    Polka Dot Tie Blouse

I’ve been on a tie blouse kick lately. You might remember this pink and maroon one I just shared over the weekend. This white tie blouse with black polka dots was a Christmas gift and I love how crisp it looks with black pants. It was a little low cut for work so I wore a lace topped black cami underneath. Top: Forever 21 | Pants: LOFT | Shoes: Aldo I love the black & white polka dots. So classic and will never go out of style! Have a great Thursday – it’s almost the weekend!

    Grey Crochet Top

How was your weekend? My friends’ 4-day wedding festivities ended on Saturday night/Sunday morning and while it was a really fun weekend I’m tired and not ready to return to work! There are less than 3 weeks left to the school year, but the end of the year is always hectic and add in that I am getting my new townhouse move-in ready and it’s going to be a busy month! I’m going to share what I wore to the reception in tomorrow’s blog post, but for today I’m sharing a top I wore to work last week. This grey crochet top with a high collar and buttons on the…

    Pink & Maroon Necktie Blouse

Happy Saturday! Today is my friend’s wedding and for the past few days I have been swamped with wedding events, work, and an exciting personal thing which if you follow my Instagram stories you’ll know I just closed on a townhouse yesterday! If you follow me on Instagram you probably also saw wedding festivities like my henna. So because I’ve been so busy, the past few days and this weekend’s blog posts have been put together ahead of time. But I plan to write about the wedding – mainly what I’m wearing to it tonight – on the blog in a few days. Today I’m sharing a pink and maroon…

    Floral Embroidered Mock Neck

It’s always hard to come back to work after a long weekend or break. Hopefully today goes by pretty smoothly! It’s supposed to be pretty hot today, but I’m sharing a look today that’s perfect for those more mild or cool spring days. I wore this floral embroidered mock neck top last week. Despite it being long sleeves and a mock neck, the top is very thin and lightweight so it’s not really that warm. I love the bright floral embroidery against the black. I think if you did a search on my blog you’d find a dozen (or more) blog posts that have “floral embroidery” in the title. But…

    Teal Dot Front Zip Blouse

I love to wear flowy blouses to work because they’re so comfortable and I’m not constantly pulling my top and shifting my clothes around. As you all know by now, if you’re a frequent reader of my blog, I love exposed zippers. I have a few tops that have front zipper details and what’s cute and different about this one is that it’s a ring zipper. It’s the little things! This green loose blouse has teal and purple dots all over that I think are so fun and a pretty color combo. Top: Apt. 9 via Kohl’s | Pants: Old Navy | Shoes: Aldo | Watch: Caravelle by Bulova The…

    Evening Blue Bow Sweater

Happy Wednesday! The days have been going so slow, but we’re already at Wednesday so the week is actually going pretty quick regardless. I’m 2 days away (including today) from spring break. I don’t have any travel plans this spring break, but I’m sure I’ll keep busy with hanging out with friends and errands and the like. But while I wait for my break, I’m sharing a top that I wore to work last week. I love a good bow and this sparkly blue sweater with silver bow on the shoulder is so pretty. Kelly Green & Gold

Happy St. Patrick’s Day! In celebration of the holiday, I wore a kelly green button down blouse to work yesterday with my gold layered necklace. If I were going somewhere other than work I would’ve also worn my embellished box purse, but since that wasn’t the case, I left it at home. Today is a low-key day. I have my monthly massage scheduled for this morning (so excited!), have some blog business to attend to this afternoon, and then hanging out with friends tonight for a game night, which I’ll be writing about in a few weeks for another bit of blog business. Since it is a low-key day I’m…

    Gathered Yoke + Button Details

Happy Saturday! Do you have anything exciting going on this weekend? I have Friendsgiving with some friends today and then a family dinner tomorrow to celebrate my dad’s retirement. Hopefully I’ll have some time to relax too because I’m really physically exhausted lately. With that being said, I’ll try to keep today’s post brief! For those of you who don’t know my day job is high school english teacher. My dress code at work is business casual. I like wearing all different kinds of styles because that’s my style. For those of you who have followed me for a while know that I wear all different kinds of things depending on…
