    Sheer Sleeve Floral Smocked Top

You all know my love for smocked tops and when I saw this blue floral smocked top with sheer sleeves I thought it would be the perfect spring blouse for work. You know, when I thought I would be going into work! But, I did wear it this past week for virtual work. It’s so pretty and smocked tops are always comfortable so combining a work blouse with comfort is always a plus. The sheer sleeves are such a nice touch and I love that the print continues down the sleeves. Top: Vici | Pants: Uniqlo | Shoes: Vici I wore the blouse with grey pants and white mules. The…

    Dark Floral Shell

Every year LOFT puts out these shells (I’m not sure why they call them shells) – sleeveless tops that are sometimes mixed media. They come in all different prints, patterns, necklines. I love them, especially with a cardigan for work. I wore this dark floral shell earlier in the week for work (even if it’s just virtual) with white pants for a spring look. I wore it with a long cardigan since it was a little chilly to go sleeveless and I loved it like that too! Top: LOFT | Pants: Uniqlo | Cardigan: Express | Bracelet: The Styled Collection (here) My top is from last year, but I’ve linked…

    Navy Blue Ruffle Portofino Shirt

Yesterday I was in a funk most of the day and I’m hoping today is better, but it’s supposed to be stormy so I’m not sure the weather will help my mood! Here’s hoping. Anyway, I bought this blouse back when I didn’t know I wouldn’t actually be going in to work anytime soon. If you’re an Express shopper then chances are you have either bought or you at least know of their infamous Portofino blouses. They have been around for years in different variations. I have or have had the Portofino shirts in prints, ones with front pockets, etc. When I saw this one with the ruffle neckline and covered…

Ribbed Turtleneck Dress + Plaid Shirt

I wrote yesterday about how I’m still getting dressed every day for work even though I’m working from home. I’m not wearing dress pants or anything like I would do if I was actually going in to work, but I’m still getting dressed out of pajamas and sweatpants just to help my mindset. For my first day of teaching online on Wednesday I decided that I was going to wear a dress just to kick off this whole teaching from home thing. Plus, I already had it ironed thinking I would be going to work this past week! I got this ribbed turtleneck dress from Amazon and I love how…

    Jeweled Collar Top

If you’ve been following me for a while then you know my style is wide-ranging. I can be in the mood for a boho look one day and a preppy look the next. Today is a more preppy look. I love jeweled accents and when I saw this jeweled collar lightweight sweater I thought it was just precious! I wore this grey lightweight sweater with jeweled white collar with black pants and flats to work a few days ago. You can wear it with black pants like I did or a black skirt or with jeans for a more casual look. So many options! Sweater: LOFT (here) | Pants: LC…

    Green Tie Waist Dress

If you remember back on Thanksgiving I wore a pinky mauve tie waist dress (with a plaid ruana) and said it was so comfortable and figure flattering. Well, good thing I ordered it in another color at the same time and hoped for the best because I love the dress! It is that good. It’s just a simple dress – it feels sort of like a thicker crepe material – with slight balloon sleeves and a tie waist. There’s nothing fancy about it, but it’s easy to dress up or down and like I said it is super comfortable and flattering. I think it would look good on so many body types…

    Flecked Wrap Sweater Dress

What makes a wrap dress even better? Make it a soft, cozy sweater dress! This flecked wrap sweater dress is literally the perfect dress. It fits perfectly, has the flattering fit of a wrap dress, and is a soft sweater dress. The dark charcoal grey with flecked detailing is a really nice look for winter. I’m really in to it! Dress: LOFT | Camisole: American Eagle | Tights: American Eagle (here) | Boots: Kelly & Katie via DSW I wore a white tank top underneath the dress since it is low cut and black tights and black booties. This is the perfect work look and dinner outfit. Dress it down…

Green Blouse + Ribbed Pencil Skirt

The holidays are in full swing! I’ve been wearing a lot of holiday/festive clothing lately and it’s the best. I love taking advantage of this time to break out my Christmas sweatshirts, sweaters, and other clothing that has Christmas-y colors. The outfit I’m wearing today is the perfect work outfit and it works for the holidays. I wore a kelly green utility blouse – the infamous Portofino blouse – from Express. This style blouse is available year-round from Express in all different colors, prints, etc. I wore it with a ribbed pull-on pencil skirt, heels, and a bedazzled lariat necklace. This is a great office look and add on the…

    Multicolor Star Blouse

When I first saw this blouse online I was like “omg so fun!” and then I got it and was like “hmm, I’m not sure about this”. Then, I put it on and was reassured that it was a great idea to get it. I love the all over multicolor star print and the little ruffle details at the wrist. Top: Vici | Pants: Gap | Watch: Caravelle by Bulova | Shoes: Clarks via DSW The print may be a little too busy for some, but I love the colors and the stars are so small that when you see the print from afar it just looks like beautiful colors…

    Floral Embroidered Sleeve Sweater

We’re almost at the weekend! Just 2 days until we get a little break. This week hasn’t been as busy as last week for me, but I’ve been extra tired this week for some reason so it’s been just as tiring. I really need to start going to bed earlier! Anyway, you all know by now that I love florals so when I saw this floral embroidered sleeve sweater it was an instant “add to cart”. The light pink of the sweater has a slightly mauve tone and I love it. And tons of other people loved it too because the sweater sold out before I could share it with you…
