Book Review: Destroy Me

After finishing Shatter Me, the first book in the series by the same name by Tahereh Mafi, I started book 1.5, Destroy Me – a novella in Warner’s POV. Some spoilers to book 1 are below!

This novella begins shortly after Warner is shot by Juliette when she escapes with Adam, Kenji, and James. We get insight into what Warner is thinking and what he goes through. He does have genuine feelings for Juliette and wants to find her. He’s also not as cold and bad as he pretends to be since we get a glimpse inside his head. And we meet his father, the Supreme Commander, who is actually evil.

This was a quick read as to be expected from a novella. Warner really intrigues me and I know people absolutely love him so I’m excited to continue reading the series and see what happens next!
