Throne of Secrets Quote

I read Throne of Secrets a while ago, but I was recently thinking about the book and series prompting me to want to do an appreciation post with a quote.

“I thought you were the most devastating thing I’d ever seen. A comet speeding directly at me. And I was so lost to your splendor, I didn’t care if you wiped me clean of the realm, so long as I got a chance to admire you, even from a distance.”

This quote and the garden aesthetic has me missing this world! I can’t wait until Kerri Maniscalco reveals which brother/Prince of Sin the next book will be about!
