Book Review: Wild Love
It’s taken me a while, but I finally started the Rose Hill series and read Wild Love by Elsie Silver last week and I’m a big fan.

The novel follows Ford Grant and Rosie Belmont. Ford is Willa’s (from the Chestnut Springs series) brother. He’s a billionaire music producer and bar owner. He’s in Rose Hill to renovate a property he has there and build a recording studio. Ford isn’t originally from Rose Hill, but he grew up spending summers there and now he’s back to settle down and build his dream business. Rosie grew up in Rose Hill and is the youngest sister to Ford’s best friend, Weston. After living in the city since she graduated high school, Rosie is now back in Rose Hill 10 years later after losing her job in an unfortunate case of having a boss with wandering hands. In need of a job, she goes to Ford and asks to work for him at his new label/recording studio. Ford needs the help plus he’s never been able to say no to Rosie.
Rosie always thought Ford saw her as the annoying tag along little sister to his best friend since they were little kids. But now that they’re grown up, do they still see each other the same way they did all those years ago?
I loved this book. Ford and Rosie were perfect. Okay, actually, Rosie’s at-times chaotic personality made me anxious, but overall I did love them together. And Cora was one of my favorite parts of the whole novel! She was just what the story needed and she slotted into the Ford and Rosie’s lives like she was meant to be.
I’m looking forward to continuing the series and reading book 2 soon!
Read this if you want a spicy contemporary western romcom with the friends to lovers trope.
