    MTV Graphic Tee

Does anybody watch MTV anymore? I can’t remember the last time I watched. I don’t even watch the VMAs or MTV Movie Awards unless there’s a specific performance I’m watching for. But back in the day, I used to watch MTV a lot. Remember Newlyweds? TRL? Making the Video? I loved those! My friends and I used to vote for videos on TRL every day and back then you could type out messages on the website and look to see if your message got selected for the little news crawl thing on the bottom. We would vote under all different names in order to keep voting for the videos we…

    Dark Floral Shell

Every year LOFT puts out these shells (I’m not sure why they call them shells) – sleeveless tops that are sometimes mixed media. They come in all different prints, patterns, necklines. I love them, especially with a cardigan for work. I wore this dark floral shell earlier in the week for work (even if it’s just virtual) with white pants for a spring look. I wore it with a long cardigan since it was a little chilly to go sleeveless and I loved it like that too! Top: LOFT | Pants: Uniqlo | Cardigan: Express | Bracelet: The Styled Collection (here) My top is from last year, but I’ve linked…

    Restyled: Belted Grapevine Dress

I love sharing restylings because it shows you ways to wear an item in a different way. I shared this drop waist grapevine print dress last year and wore it simply with double strapped taupe sandals. I wanted to wear it this week and I thought it would look so good belted with a white belt to break up the print and also to cinch the waist a little tighter than the drawstring waist. So I styled it with my white double o-ring belt, white mules (that I shared yesterday), and I draped a denim jacket over my shoulders. Dress: Vici | Denim Jacket: LOFT | Mules: Vici | Belt: Amazon…

    White Mules

Happy Friday! We made it through another week on lockdown! I can’t believe it’s been almost 7 weeks since this all started here in NJ. It doesn’t feel quite like spring here. We’ve had a few really nice, beautiful days and then a lot of rainy, extremely windy, chilly days. But, let’s pretend it’s full on spring over here and look at pretty, spring shoes – white mules in particular. I got these studded white mules at the end of the winter, but obviously have not been able to wear them much yet. I’ve worn them with an outfit once or twice on here in the past few weeks and…

    Floral Smocked V-Neck

I love smocked tops because they’re so comfortable and stretchy. The one I’m sharing today is a really pretty spring floral cropped length one with a v-neck. I wore it with high-waisted jeggings last weekend and was comfortable all day! Top: American Eagle | Jeans: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Shoes: Steve Madden via DSW (here) I love the colors in this floral print. The pinks and blues are really sweet. It was actually pretty chilly and rainy on this particular day so I threw a chunky cardigan on over this after I took photos! It was easy to layer with this top. I think this top is sold…

    Buddha Wheel Pendant

It’s the start of a new week and while I have a little case of the normal Monday blues, I’m hoping this week is much better than the blah week I had last week. Let’s start off the week with good vibes. I love coin jewelry and when I saw this Buddha Wheel one I thought it was something different than the normal greek coin jewelry. I don’t know a lot about Buddhism, but I looked up the symbolism of the wheel, also known as the Dharma Wheel. There is a ton of information on it, but to keep this short and simple the wheel is depicted with eight spokes…

    French Terry Floral Lounge Set

I hope you’re all having a good weekend so far! I’m heading to the supermarket this morning to pick up some vegetables for the next week that I need. Hopefully the produce is stocked! Today, I’m sharing this french terry floral lounge set that I picked up from Vici. I signed up for restocks on these and I’m so happy I was able to snag them! They’re sold separately, but I obviously I had to get both. The shorts are pretty short, but I would only wear them as loungewear at home or as pajamas anyway. I love that I can wear the lightweight sweatshirt with the shorts or with…

    Destructed Cuffed Patch Jeans

Are you a fan of boyfriend jeans? They’re supposed to be a more slouchy, relaxed fit. I like the look, but since I’m petite I needed to find a pair that didn’t make me look frumpy. Since I had such good luck with the first pair of Sofia Vergara jeans from Walmart last month, I decided to try her boyfriend style jeans. These destructed cuff jeans comes in multiple washes, but this light patch one caught my eye! I got them in “short” again and I love them! I wore the pair of jeans last weekend with an old lemon print sweater and black mules. Top: Old Navy | Jeans:…

    Structured Canvas Crossbody Bag

When I saw this structured canvas crossbody bag and it’s insanely affordable price, I ordered it right away. It’s the perfect light colored bag for spring and summer. When we can actually go somewhere that requires a bag! I love the size of this one and the beige canvas and tan/cognac trim. You can hold it by the hand with the top handle or attach the shoulder strap to make it a shoulder bag or crossbody bag. Bag: Vici | Top: Old Navy | Jeans: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Shoes: Steve Madden via DSW (here) I wore the bag with a multicolored striped long sleeve tee, jeans, and…

    Navy Blue Ruffle Portofino Shirt

Yesterday I was in a funk most of the day and I’m hoping today is better, but it’s supposed to be stormy so I’m not sure the weather will help my mood! Here’s hoping. Anyway, I bought this blouse back when I didn’t know I wouldn’t actually be going in to work anytime soon. If you’re an Express shopper then chances are you have either bought or you at least know of their infamous Portofino blouses. They have been around for years in different variations. I have or have had the Portofino shirts in prints, ones with front pockets, etc. When I saw this one with the ruffle neckline and covered…
