Currently Reading: Shield of Sparrows

I’m officially on winter break from work and trying to cram in as much reading as possible. But, I’m also going to be traveling for half of my time off so we’ll see how much reading I can get done!

I did have a cozy reading day yesterday though in between some chores and gift wrapping. I changed out of my cute, new Christmas tree waffle knit pajamas and into an adorable hot pink Christmas print sweatshirt, had coffee in my new nutcracker mug from Rifle Paper & Co, put some homemade Christmas cookies on a plate to snack on, and cozied up in my new slippers to read my current read – Shield of Sparrows by Devney Perry.

i’m almost halfway through the book now and loving it so far! I’m hoping to finish it before I head out on my trip later this week so I don’t have to carry such a thick book with me. My next physical read is a smaller paperback and I’ll have my Kindle so not having to pack this chunky fantasy book would be ideal!
