Eden Bloom Mini Dress
Fall is my favorite season. It wasn’t always. Naturally, when I was younger summer was my favorite because of summer break and spending days playing with friends, swimming, riding bikes, just hanging out. Even though I still have summers off as a teacher, which I love, in terms of weather and fashion fall is my favorite now. It’s funny because I’ve heard quite a few people say the same thing – that as they’ve gotten older they’ve gained a new appreciation for fall. So I found the perfect fall dress for my favorite season and wore it during my early fall shoot with Lauren. This blush dress has a beautiful…

Floral Maxi/Kimono
Any clothing item that can be worn multiple ways is a winner in my book. When I saw these button down maxi dresses being worn on social media I was intrigued, because it could be worn as a dress or as a kimono/duster type sweater. Genius! After looking at a ton of reviews and finding a print that I liked, I got this fun, bright floral print from Amazon. It is a little long, but with wedges, it’s perfect. I love that the buttons don’t go all the way down, but you can also button or leave unbuttoned as many as you want depending on how much leg you want…

Floral Puff Sleeve Swing Dress
I hope everyone’s week is off to a good start so far! This week is full of more appointments for me – basically taking care of all the things I didn’t have time to do during the school year like get my annual physical etc. But, so far this summer break there have been some fun things too like the book event I went to last week for Spin the Dawn. It was a hot day that day that I went in to the city for the book event. Around 90 degrees and sunny. This floral puff sleeve swing dress was a great outfit choice because the swing style meant…

Blue Floral Lace Trim Dress
This dress has two things I love – florals and lace. It’s like it was practically made for me! When I first saw this dress online, I saw it in white and I immediately loved it. But then, I saw it was offered in blue and I had to decide which color I wanted. The white was what I originally saw and loved, but that blue was pretty too. As you can see I went with the blue. My choice was mainly due to the fact that I wasn’t sure if the white would be see-through. The back of the dress is low which is a really pretty detail for…

Floral Tiered Maxi
I can’t believe it’s already Friday! I’m so sad that my spring break is almost at an end, but I know the rest of the school year is going to probably fly by and I’m not going to have enough time to do everything I want to do. Today I’m sharing the maxi dress I wore on Easter Sunday. You guys know I love floral print and maxi dresses. But what makes this dress even better is that it was made for me. And I’m not using that as a saying like “oh this dress is so perfect, it was basically made for me”. No, I mean it was made for…

Flower Branch Dress
Looking for an Easter dress or a spring dress for a wedding? Or just want a pretty spring dress for work? This dress is perfect. And I don’t use the word perfect lightly here! When I saw this green dress with the flower branch design I had to have it. LOFT has a few items in this pattern. I think blouses and skirts, but I opted for the dress. If you’ve been following me on here for a while then you know that green is my favorite color so that automatically drew me to this dress. Then, it has the prettiest floral pattern on it – flowering branches, which again you…

English Tea Party Look
English Tea Party by lifeaccordingtojamie featuring a 2 tier cake stand I don’t know why, but when I think tea party, I think garden. I’m not sure how many tea parties actually take place outside in gardens, but that’s just what I think of. I’ve been to high tea twice before in my life, once in London, and neither one of the times was outside so who knows where this idea comes from. I’d love to have a tea/garden party one day and I think it’s a great idea for a bridal shower or birthday brunch type thing. Minus the bugs. I hate bugs. I guess that would be the…
