    Pink

Pink by lifeaccordingtojamie featuring pink high heel boots   As many of you know, October is Breast Cancer Awareness month, and people often wear pink to raise awareness. Breast cancer is something that has touched my life personally in many ways so I like to take part. So when Polyvore had their “I Wear Pink for…” style challenge I had to participate! For this pink look I chose a ruffled floral blouse with a gorgeous print featuring pink flowers amongst turquoise and yellow flowers. I didn’t want to go overboard with the pink and look like Pepto Bismol. I styled it with dark wash jeans, a peachy pink faux…

    I Wear Pink For

I Wear Pink For by lifeaccordingtojamie featuring spring home decor Before we get to the end of October, I wanted to get this “I Wear Pink For” post up. As probably most of you know, people wear pink in October for Breast Cancer Awareness. Cancer is something that we’ve all been effected by in some way or another – I know I certainly have. So for this pink themed look I chose a beautiful, romantic looking floral high-low dress with a round neckline. I paired the dress with powder pink Valentino Rockstud Patent Leather Pumps which are on many a wishlist. To dress the look down just a tad I chose…

    Powder Pink Lace Stripes

I’m not one of those people that hates the color pink, but I do have to be in the mood to wear it. When going to a casual dinner party recently, I was trying to figure out what to wear. I needed something that was casual but not too casual. I wanted to look put together, but not too dressed up. So I went with this powder pink cap sleeve top with lace stripes, skinny jeans, and short boots. Top: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Jeans: Loft | Boots: DSW | Watch: Michael Kors The top has a tie at the back of the neck, which I find really common with LC Lauren Conrad tops. I…

    Pops of Pink

Anyone else feel like this past weekend was definitely not long enough? Remember last winter (if you’ve been following me for that long) when I wrote about how I was starting to get really tired of all the snow days and the cabin fever was setting in? I take it back, I’d like some snow days now please! To make this Monday just a little bit better, I’m sharing an outfit I wore last month to go out to the city for my friend’s 30th birthday. We went out to New York City for dinner (review coming up in the future, but I showed a peek of the restaurant during a recent…

    Pink for October

As most of you know, October and the color Pink have become synonymous in recent years to raise awareness for breast cancer. Many of us, myself included, have also been personally effected by breast cancer in some way. Every year my school does a fundraiser where students donate a few dollars to be able to dress down by wearing pink and/or white. This is especially a good turn out because the students at my school wear uniforms. Of course, I took part in the fundraiser and donned a long bright pink cardigan, retro-inspired floral top, jeans, and dark grey ankle boots. Cardigan & Top: Express Jeans: LC Lauren Conrad Boots: Nordstrom…

    Baby Pink & Multi-Chain Necklace

I’m halfway through my last full week of work for the year. It’s been one of those annoying/frustrating weeks so I could not be more ready for winter break to arrive! This past Monday, I wore a baby pink sweater to work. In some lights it looked a bit brighter, almost bubblegum pink and in other lights it looked more baby pink. Since in these pictures I think it comes off lighter, let’s go with baby pink. They say bright colors help brighten your mood and while the past two mornings have been a little annoying, hopefully the rest of the week is good. Top: Gap Tank: Loft Pants: Express Necklace: Express The sweater…
