    Sequin Heart Tee

I’m finally seeing End Game this morning and I can’t wait! I’ll be share to share my thoughts within tomorrow’s blog post, but for now let’s get to this tee. I could’ve sworn I had this tee on the blog already because it is a few years old, but I can’t find it. So if it is on here somewhere, then this will be an updated post. And if it somehow has never been on here, then here ya go! This slouchy tee has a large slanted sequin heart on it which I think is so fun! I personally don’t think it’s over the top, but that’s just me. I…

    Sequin Sleeve Tee

Yesterday, I posted about my Eshakti floral maxi dress that I wore for Easter Sunday lunch and the afternoon. Today, I’m sharing the glam tee I changed in to for dinner with friends because any excuse for an outfit change while away! This pink v-neck tee has gold sequins on the sleeves. Such a fun top! It is actually quite long so it’d be great to front tuck or tie up and tuck under like I did here. Tee: Vici | Jeans: LC Lauren Conrad via Kohl’s | Shoes: Crown Vintage via DSW | Sunglasses: Quay Australia The tee is also pretty low-cut so you could wear it with a bralette…

    Sequin Penguin Sweater

How was your weekend? Did you watch Rent: Live ? I did! It ended too late for me to post a recap for this morning, but I’m planning to write about it tonight for tomorrow so be on the lookout for that! My weekend was good, but busy. I had a fun photoshoot with Lauren on Saturday – photos to come soon! – and I had to go to an open house for work yesterday. So now we’re on to a new week but the cozy sweater I’m sharing today is from last weekend. When I saw this sweater with a sequin penguin I thought it was too cute to pass up…

    Sheer Floral Embroidered Peplum

A few weeks ago I met up with my friend and professional photographer, Jaye (Jaye Kogut Photography), for a spring photoshoot at Sayen Gardens. I was a little nervous about being cold wearing spring clothes because even though we had penciled in this date a long time ago and had thought late April would be nice and pleasant, the weather had been really cold leading up to the date. So I was truly blessed that the day ended up being the nicest day in a while! It was in the upper 60s and sunny and overall amazing! The look I’m sharing today is actually the last outfit we shot. I’ve…

    Gold: Layered + Sequins

For years I didn’t really care for yellow gold. I didn’t like the look of it and much preferred silver or white gold. But in recent years I’ve started to really like yellow gold again. Don’t know why, but I’m not complaining! I’d been looking for a necklace just like this for years. A layered necklace with little gold discs – small enough to look like gold confetti. But I either couldn’t find one I liked or they were too expensive. When I spotted this Amber Layered Y-Chain Necklace from Baublebar during all the Black Friday sales, I had to have it! I love the layers and the length. I…

Sequin Striped Tee + Khaki Chunky Knit

This week has been so tiring and it’s only Wednesday! I was invited to a fun grand opening event last night that you may have gotten a sneak peek of through my Instagram stories last night. I’ll be writing all about it tomorrow so keep an eye out! Today I’m sharing a look from a few weeks ago (hence the Christmas decor still up) on a mild winter day before the deep freeze took over. It’s fitting to share it this week though since this week has been pretty mild in comparison to the absolutely painful freezing temps we’ve been enduring this winter. This sequin striped tee has three large…

    Sequins + Tulle

If you watched my Instastories over the weekend you probably caught one of my various photos and videos from my friend’s beautiful wedding. Today I’m sharing my wedding guest look! I began looking for a dress for the wedding in the late spring because I didn’t know how long it would take me to find one I liked, plus I would be away for a week at the beginning of July and I didn’t want to be rushing and stressed to find something. I didn’t quite know what I wanted, but I did know that I what I really wanted was something with mixed textures i.e. solid top and feathered skirt.…

    Glamming Up White Sneakers

Taking a quick break from my travel posts with this one. I saw a post on Instagram that DSW posted a while back of white sneakers with sequined tongues. It immediately caught my eye and I had to find out more! Turns out they were regular white sneakers and the sequins were inserts. I thought this was a genius way to glam up your sneakers and change up a plain white shoe look! Romper: Express | Bralette: Aerie | Sneakers: Adidas | Sequin Tongue Inserts: DSW I think these inserts are so fun and added a little bit of glitz and sparkle to my black & white outfit! This romper is…

Anyone else feel like this past weekend was definitely not long enough? Remember last winter (if you’ve been following me for that long) when I wrote about how I was starting to get really tired of all the snow days and the cabin fever was setting in? I take it back, I’d like some snow days now please! To make this Monday just a little bit better, I’m sharing an outfit I wore last month to go out to the city for my friend’s 30th birthday. We went out to New York City for dinner (review coming up in the future, but I showed a peek of the restaurant during a recent…

    New Year’s Eve Glam

I hope you all had a fabulous time ringing in the new year and a restful day yesterday! My new year’s plans are always different every year, but when the plans are a party or some sort of ticketed event, I want to go all out and look glamorous (to fit the occasion) because that’s part of the fun! Well, for me at least. New Year’s Eve is the perfect excuse to get all glitzy and sparkly. And that’s just what I did. Here’s what I did to prepare for my night out and what I did for New Year’s Eve. Anything still available for purchase (to my current knowledge)…
