I was sent an early copy of Once in a Lifetime by I was sent an early copy of Once in a Lifetime by @suzannemattaboni80s months ago and I did a highlight post on it back then, but I finally read it this week and loved it! 📖The novel takes places in New Hope, PA (just across the river from NJ) in 1984. Jessica, a mixed media art student, is spending the summer there with her 3 best friends and roommates, waitressing, and trying to save money to study abroad ✈️ . This coming of age novel was a fun and realistic read about punk rock loving girls with big dreams as they navigate life and love in their early 20s 🎶💗. I was hooked on the story the whole time and really enjoyed it! I loved You Deserve Each Other 💖. It’s going I loved You Deserve Each Other 💖. It’s going to be one of those books that sticks with me for a while 📖. Naomi and Nicholas are engaged, but can barely stand each other these days. Naomi doesn’t think she can go through with the marriage, but she’s broke and thanks to a meddling future mother-in-law whoever breaks off the engagement has to foot the non-refundable bill 💍. Naomi comes to realize that all the annoying things Nicholas has been doing lately are to purposely get under her skin. Now it’s game on and the two pull pranks on each other in an attempt to drive the other to be the one to end things. But all this extra time together trying to bring each other down might just bring them closer together 💕. This book was so funny that I actually laughed out loud while reading 😂. It also had really touching moments and I was rooting for Naomi and Nicholas the whole time. I loved them and overall it was just such a good story!
