Tulips @ Holland Ridge Farms
I’m a bit late with this post as tulip season is pretty much over, but better late than never! 2 weeks ago I went down to Holland Ridge Farms, which you got a glimpse of when I posted my striped midi jumpsuit, to see the tulips. I saw a bunch of photos of the farm online and wanted to see it for myself just before the season was over. It’s supposedly the largest tulip farm on the east coast, so I had to go! There were a ton of people there despite going on a week day and I should’ve worn closed toe shoes since it was pretty dusty, but…

Photo Challenge: Awakening
Happy Friday! It’s still not feeling totally spring-like here yet. The flowering trees are blooming which is nice, but there’s still no leaves on the other trees. I’m still patiently waiting. But, since most other places in the country are experiencing spring it seems right that the photo challenge last week on The Daily Post was “Awakening“. A majority of the trees might still be bare, but spring flowers are available at the stores and I couldn’t help but pick up some tulips recently. Tulips are one of my favorite spring flowers. Photo Challenge: State of Mind
Happy Friday! Anyone else feel in a slump lately? I’ve been trying to be optimistic, but I’m just so busy and tired that it’s hard to climb out of the slump. That’s why for my photo response to The Daily Post’s weekly photo challenge for “State of Mind”, I took a picture of some tulips I had this week. As the days went on the flowers had seen better days and one was seriously drooping. I love tulips and the these pink and yellow ones were so bright and cheery.
