Four Birds Beauty – Beach Waves Spray

Back in June, I received a bottle of Four Birds Beauty’s Beach Wave Texturizing Spray in my Aster Market Box. I love beach waves so I was excited to give this spray a try. I’ve always wanted to try sprays like Bumble and Bumble’s Surf Spray, but haven’t yet so I was eager to give this spray a go.

The directions said to shake well and then spray a “small amount” onto damp hair. I had no idea what constituted a small amount so I just spritzed a bit all over. The directions then said to scrunch your hair and let your hair air dry. So I did that. Did it work? Not really. With a name that includes “beach waves” I was expecting some loose waves in my hair but I didn’t get any! I suppose my hair had the tiniest amount of more body, but I don’t think it was anything that was very noticeable. In fact, my hair felt a bit weighed down.

I normally don’t write about things that don’t work out for me or that I didn’t particularly like, but since I did write about this product in my unboxing I wanted to give you an update. The one upside is that the spray smelled really good. It reminded me of a spa with a scent of salt and essential oils. I may continue to use it to spray in my hair just for the good smell, but not as a beach wave spray.
