Skinkissed Vitamin C Serum
I love skincare and I’m always up for trying new things to see how they’ll work on my combination skin. I’ve taken a liking to serums in recent years because of how they feel on the skin and all the amazing benefits they all have. I’m especially in to serums these days since they’re great to use before a jade roller. Lately I’ve been using the Vitamin C Serum by Skinkissed. I took it with me on vacation and it was so great because it helped keep my skin healthy while away and also the bottle is so compact that it’s easy to travel with! The bottle is glass though…

Snow Mushroom Water Serum
Do you remember last summer when I shared a bunch of products from newly launched skincare company, Volition? The brand has so many good products and they’re all great for your skin and nice, clean products. They recently sent me their new product – the Snow Mushroom Water Serum. Snow mushrooms can hold up to 500 times their weight in water which is why this key ingredient in this serum helps hydrate your skin and keep that hydration in. The product is described as: “This cocktail of nutrient-rich ingredients leaves thirsty skin looking dewy, radiant, and healthy. Snow Mushrooms, nature’s sponges, can hold nearly 500 times their weight in water, delivering…

Coola Dry Oil Mist
I’m fairly new to self-tanners but since I don’t spend as much time at the beach and by pools as I did when I was younger, I really wanted to experiment with them so that my legs aren’t always pasty. Before the Coola Dry Oil Mist, the closest thing to self-tanner that I had used regularly is Jergen’s Natural Glow Moisturizer. The main things I wanted were something that was easy to use and buildable. I heard a few people talk about the Coola Dry Oil Mist on social media and it sounded great because instead of it being a thick mousse it’s just a fine mist, dries quickly, and…

Book Review: Send Down the Rain
I’ve always loved to read and it’s a little known fact that I’d love to one day write a book myself. I’ve periodically reviewed books on here over the years on my own, but when this blogging journey allowed me in recent months to have books actually sent to me for my consideration, it has been so exciting! The coolest part is getting books before they even hit the shelves – advanced reader copies. Such was the case with this book Send Down the Rain. It comes out today! I finished the book just in time for today’s release to give you some of my thoughts. Send Down the Rain tells the…

Live Clean Body Wash & Lotion
One of the great things about blogging is that I get to try out so many different things. Whether I am sent products or I’m off buying them myself because I’ve heard so much about them – it’s always fun for me to try out all different kinds of products and I, of course, like to report back my thoughts to all of you. Lately, I’ve been using a body wash and lotion from Live Clean that were sent to me. I got the Bali Body Wash and the Argan Oil Body Lotion. What’s great about Live Clean is that they produce eco-friendly, gentle products with naturally based ingredients. And…

L’Oreal Age Perfect Cell Renewal Serum
I’ve mentioned this a few times in posts the past few weeks, but my skin has been crazy since November/December. Every time I think it’s finally under control, another blemish crops up. It’s mostly on my cheeks and it’s really annoying because as soon as my breakout on one cheek is gone, a pimple pops up on the other cheek! Anyway, as my body figures itself out, I’ve just been trying to take the best care of my skin as I can. One item I’ve been using the past few weeks is the L’Oreal Age Perfect Cell Renewal Serum. L’oreal describes the serum as: “L’Oréal Age Perfect Cell Renewal Serum contains…

Becca x Chrissy Teigen Glow Face
Who doesn’t love Chrissy Teigen? Well, I suppose some people don’t but I do. She’s witty, beautiful, stylish, and hilarious. Plus, she cooks all the time on her social media (and has cook books) and she’s half-Asian. Her mom is Thai and she often features her on her Instagram stories and they’re so cute together! So she’s pretty awesome in my book. A few months ago Becca and Chrissy did a collaboration together to create the Becca x Chrissy Teigen Glow Face Palette. I loved the images of the palette as soon as I saw them, but I didn’t feel I needed it. At least not right away. Fast forward a few…

Tommy Bahama Down Alternative Pillows
Back in June, Downlite Bedding was kind enough to send me a down comforter and now through them I was sent these two Tommy Bahama Down Alternative Pillows! They are so fluffy and comfortable – I love them! They remind me of good hotel pillows. The kind that make you feel so comfortable even though you’re not in your own bed. These luxurious pillows are filled with white goose feather and have a white cotton cover. They are hypoallergenic and “provide you with a medium density perfect for cradling your head in a back or side sleeping position” according to the company. Of course, I put pillow cases over mine. I…
